@radianman5 ай бұрын
This is not new and has been happening for far too long already, and was common in other forms of (primarily American) media, such as film. For example the American movie White Chicks (too be fair I never watched it); had that movie been reversed the producers would have been (quite rightly) accused of creating a Black Face movie as awful as the Minstrel Shows of old. Personally, I am anti-white and also anti-black, anti-yellow, anti-red or however else anyone chooses to classify people into ‘races’. The consensus among Human biologists is that there is no basis for classifying people into different races (i.e., sub-species). We all belong to the same species and subspecies, Homo sapiens sapiens, and any general differences between populations on different continents or various regions are neither unique nor sufficient to divide us. Furthermore, of centuries of global imperialism, and migration great swathes of the human population are incredibly mixed, regardless of how their individual genetic makeup is expressed. It is sad the centuries of indoctrination, division, oppression and suffering has produced virulent racists of every colour.

Why do people act as if the word "indigenous" can't refer to people of European descent? There are indigenous Europeans, too. You know, in Europe, where Europeans come from. 🤦🏻♂️
@jakedemaggio86495 ай бұрын
Their claim is that BY DEFINITION “White or European descendants cannot be indigenous” if you look up the technical definition from international institutions they have a list of legal indigenous peoples and it excludes virtually all Europeans & their descendants. They do this DESPITE the official definition of indigenous basically being “ The oldest surviving population in any given area” so if your the oldest surviving population in any area or region you by definition SHOULD be considered “indigenous” but again they exclude whites. I think (in part) one of the main purposes for the whole “indigenous” distinction was to delegitimize white/Europeans descendants, particularly those of us from colonial/settler origins & to undermine our connections & claims to our Nations. In return they’ll use Europes colonial history to delegitimize native Europeans claim to their own nations within Europe itself, which again is why Europeans are excluded from any claims of being “indigenous”..
@erichfuchs5525 ай бұрын
@jakedemaggio8649 Thank you for your answer. Maybe we (Europeans) should use terms like indigenous and native, in spite of these attempts to delegitimize our claim to the nations of Europe which we are indeed native to. I have heard some European people refer to themselves as natives to Europe (myself included as I do in fact live here), and I hope that's a trend that will continue. I see no good reason why we shouldn't use the word indigenous as well. The exclusionary language that the people in this video and those who sympathize with them implore, as well as the international institutions who exclude people of European decent from associating with these terms is nothing more than propaganda and should be criticized to no end for clearly being prejudiced.
@loreman72675 ай бұрын
It's coming... There have been a lot of historical 'documentaries' about how the European natives migrated in the Dark Ages, or earlier, just so they can say, 'We're all immigrants'. It's shorthand for, 'This isn't your country either, Whitey!' The rightward movement of politics is sweeping the whole continent!

Two young white cops got on the bus to ride to the station because their car had broken down and they sat down next to an elderly poor black man. He kept slowly, slowly shifting his body away from them until he was pressed tightly against the far side of the seat, and finally one of the cops turned and said "Sir, is something wrong?" The old man quietly mumbled "I just don't want either of you officers thinking I maybe going to reach for your gun or something and you're going to shoot me." I couldn't believe the cop's oblivious reply. He just chuckled, kind of patted his service weapon, and said "Oh, it wouldn't matter -- they're not loaded anyway!" It was an incredibly stupid thing to say under any circumstance, but it really made it clear that he had no idea whatsoever about how terrified for his life that poor man was!

We just finished our first school year of homeschooling and her mental health is much better, but she does strongly dislike her skin color. It's so heart breaking, she's such a kind kid. Those bullies missed out on having a wonderful friend in their lives. When she told her best friend (who happens to be black) how much it hurt being bullied over her skin color, her "bestie" told her, "get over it, you're white, you've got the most privilege". It's called envy, hatred, resentment-or more precisely, what Nietzsche would call _Ressentiment_ . They will only resolve their hatred by eliminating the source (i.e. White people). _________________ _«“The concept of envy-the hatred of the superior-has dropped out of our moral vocabulary…The idea that White Christian civilization is hated more for its virtues than its sins doesn’t occur to us, because it’s not a nice idea…Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It’s Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself. Other races feel like subjects of Western power long after colonialism, imperialism, and slavery have disappeared. The charge of racism puzzles Whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled goodwill, because they don’t grasp what it really means: humiliation. The White man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. And, superiority excites envy. Destroying White civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call minorities.”»_ -Joseph Sobran (April 1997)

I also want to note how misandrist she is. While technically she includes males under the "non-binary" and "Femmes" terminology, she is very much anti-male and believes that she is not only oppressed because of her skin color but because of her sex. She sees white women beneath her because in the progressive stack they ARE beneath her and in her sexist mind women must automatically adhere to the progressive stack because we are women and without progressivism we would be oppressed by men. She really thinks that just because me and her have the same genitals that I somehow owe my freedoms, rights and existence to her. Racists like her like to use the common misandry that modern women hold as a jump spring to force compliance from white women. "You know how you talk about the Patriarchy oppressing you even though you have equal pay for equal work? The same applies to black people still being oppressed by white supremacy despite the civil rights act." And of course if feminists try to argue against this anti-white racism they basically debunk their own fictional patriarchy boogie man in the same breath and that boogie man is the reason their orgs even exist in the first place. So feminists have to bow their heads and align with the black supremacists lest they disprove their own movement as misandry and sexism. So you gotta pull ALLL the way out of the bullshit. BLM and black supremacy is racism, Feminism and 4B is misandry and sexism, all of it is toxic and it all started when women were lied to and manipulated into leaving the home and abandoning their families for fake careers that don't even fulfill them.

@@damdampapa Not exactly. It does not come from German. That’s like saying the Spanish word “casa”(meaning house) comes from the Italian word “casa”(also meaning house). When it actually comes from Latin from whom both Spanish and Italian descend from. Same thing with English and German, they both come from Proto-Germanic and not one from the other. This common confusion probably comes from the words for German and Germanic being too similar in English. It’s the same in other Germanic languages Low Saxon Goden Morgen Dutch Goede morgen West Frisian Goeie moarn Danish God morgen Norwegian God morgen Faroese Góðan morgun Swedish God morgon And in Old English it would be gódne morgen English loses its inflections so gódne simply becomes good morgen becomes morwen in middle English then “we” is lost and it becomes morn, then -ing is added by analogy with “evening”.

I'm from Thailand, and our whole modern art community can exist thanks to an Italian man (I don't know his Italian name but his Thai name was Sin Pirasri) We built many small statues for him to honor his revolutionary vision. He was white, yes, but he was a good man who respected our cultures and traditional arts---he even changed his nationality. So I would argue that even in the era when most white people didn't quite appreciate minorities...some of them were different.
@jakedemaggio86495 ай бұрын
This is all motivated from a place of hatred and ill will towards us. Anyone who pushes these narratives are likely either ill informed & have been successfully manipulated into believing that Europeans & their civilizations are uniquely evil (this will likely be the motivation for a European or European descendant repeating this) But even more likely it’s being pushed by people who hold a deep hatred towards us and have bad intentions. This is particularly true for the people who created these narratives and those who go out of their way to promote it. We should all be weary of anyone who says such things.

I realised anti white racism was extremely prevalent when my black landlord from Jamaica, who descended from slaves, told me, a white man, that he felt sorry for the white brothers these days. Man, you know things are bad when a black man is showing genuine sympathy for white people lol.

I'm Southeast Asian, South Filipino, and have 3 different tribal heritages that i carry and I feel offended how my opinions are sometimes pooled together as a "colonized Asian person's opinion" by other people on the internet. I can relate to the kind of hurt for Europeans feel as they get collectized just because their skin is pale and caucasian. The amazing histories of each nation, region, province, tribe or city all painted over just becasue of "white" the same way Africa is "just black". Also, its quite ironic, that only in a western, democratic country can they continue to be so hateful and vile to people just beacuse of skin tone.
@exantiuse4975 ай бұрын
I don't understand your last paragraph; that "only" in Western democratic countries can they be so hateful because of skin color. That sort of thing is VERY common in many non-Western countries - both White majority non-Western countries (Russia) and Black majority countries (many African countries such as Zimbabwe)

Yup, I'm 2nd generation American, almost entirely Greek. There's medical issues specific to Greeks, Italians, Armenians, and actually Southeast Asians as well -- iron deficiency. But because I'm Greek, the doctors refuse to examine the nuance of medical between different ethnicities because "white people are all the same." I'm honestly sick and tired of people calling me Caucasian because I do not have a drop of blood from the Caucasus.

As a Filipino I really relate with this. Also with white/fair skin cause how mixed my family is. That feeling of hurt I can relate. Being lumped because of this collective form of "justice" and I hate on how others, especially other Asians are saying "we have no culture" or are "not true Asians" just because of our blend of Spanish, native and other cultures mixed in our diverse country. This irony is so horrid.

You will find plenty Christians like me who are fairly open about discussing the pros and cons of our metaphysical understanding oft the world. What is commonly attribute to religion ( zealousness ) was always part of religion but never represented the entire sphere. For example, during the popular crusades in 1099 ( or 1096, can't remember right now ) it was Church officials who protected Jews ( but also the nobility ).

I used to love making jokes about 'white people', especially to my white friends. Unfortunately i realised that there's a lot of people out there who said the kind of things i was saying and genuinely meant it, so i stopped. We can't have friendly race based banter anymore because there's some horrible people out there who really do mean it. Sucks. Racism is racism however you frame it.

And sadly it exists because it is a part of the human diaspora lol and it will be continuing- even if not in the west it’ll be in other places - we just have a higher likelihood of it being because we have a highly heterogeneous society… places where there is homogenous societies tend to not have as much racism (obviously) because they don’t have other races intermingling. lol people are dumb. Diversity is not a strength when it like this…

I'm white and used to jokingly disparage white people too, as if they were an embarassment. We'd see a random white person doing something slightly lame and say, "Ughgh, typical white person behavior", things like that. We thought it was hilarious, but it was back in the 90s/2000s at a time when race stuff was pretty calm. Plus, we were young, like 20-25. We mostly made fun of particular types of white people who were more stereotypically annoying anyway. Over time, the more I heard other people making remarks like that, the less I did it because it just stopped being funny. They killed the humor & it got boring fast. Now it's become some weird compulsion where white people cannot stop bashing themselves & each other.
