Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1 is so smart when it comes to scriptwriting and Akshay Kumar's contribution, nothing can beat it! Pata nhi yeh Bhool Bhulaiya 2 & 3 ko horror comedy banane ke chakkar mein seriousness ko subtract kr diye. Even though the OG 1 has some comedy and Aki nails his comic timing 'gota, gota', 'ladki banne ka shaukh he na tujhe' but I can't take these Kartik Aryan's version seriously. Bollywood should bring back observant script-writers.

The point of Bhoolbhulaiya 1 was, and always has been, that the horror we sometimes experience coming from some people and mistake it as something supernatural and performing Jhaad Phook instead of medical treatment mostly turns out to be a mental condition only. That was the seed and the whole film revolves around this. I don't know why the makers completely made a different film with just same background score.

5:58 sigham again has worse pay off than bb3. Puri movie buildup me chali gayi and last me jab sab character ek sath aye to kuch nahi hua jitna trailer me tha utna hi movie me bhi tha bas ek extra scene tha akshay wala jab wo container se slide karke aata hai. Last fight with arjun kapur was pathetic usse acchi fight to jacky shroff se sath hui thi.

I also didn't like the film, so much gags and slapstick comedy that I coudn't take it after a point. Being a bengali myself I just don't understand this encashing approach of bollywood using 'Ami je tomar' version again and again even though I appreciate how they use Sonu Nigam's version in the film I mean that's the only good thing about the film.The bengali accent of the actors seemed to be over the top for me, it's almost same case for every other bollwood films also except some. Actually I liked the 2nd part more than this. I think bollywood should stop this encashing module using a film's franchise value ,it just doesn't land anymore.Another thing is that the production design of the film was really good,the vfx and all but the dialogue writing and direction was poor.Your review was apt even though I haven't watched Singham 3 yet.
