Yes, waxing the beard is relatively good, the problem is that you have to do it in small sections starting from the side closest to the smooth skin, and quickly because when you pull hair from there, the immune system emits signals to start healing and also the nervous system sends danger signals increasing the sensation of pain. The lips should be done last because it is hypersensitive and followed by the neck, the chin that has the hardest and deepest hairs should be done

Awful stylists. When you are a stylist it is nurture, cater, and creativity. Your job is to take care of hair, nurture and possibly inform your client how. Then you cater to a client or refuse if they want a procedure that will absolutely damage their hair. And with clients permission only!...then your creativity shines. I am so sorry for your experiences. Hopefully if you ever decide to take a chance in the industry again your research for a stylist will lead you to one with more respect than that person.

8:30 interesting tidbit! afrotexture hair is actually the most delicate when it comes to color services, etc. curlier hair is super delicate especially when wet, and bleaching it wrong can destroy your curl pattern theres also a reason that the styles like box braids, cornrows, etc are called 'protective styles'
@indigocosmic443 жыл бұрын
for sure, their point was just that their hair is still technically more brittle
@rexana_rexana3 жыл бұрын
The curlier and kinkier the hair, the more dry and prone to damage it is. That's why afro and super curly hair requires mantinence like more moisturizing conditioner and oils while straight hair often won't benefit from those products. We can all benefit from some practices; not everyone needs to wash their hair every day or needs to use shampoo every time, and cold showers are more beneficial for everyone's hair and skin (I don't do all of these but they're all worth a shot). While it is true that, on average white hair is more fragile, if anyone gets a perm and then bleaches their hair it's going to turn to pasta. Perms are just that intense on your hair (good thing perms are kinda falling out of style and wigs are becoming more accessible. Safer bet, just stay away from harsh adhesives and always use a wig cap) Afro and curly texture hair has the benefit of not needing the perm to achieve what that girl was likely going for. Still feel bad for her. Seems like someone who's a diy "why would I pay a hairdresser for this?" Type gal who ended up with pasta hair because no one told her no. Sorry for the long reply on an old-ass video, it's nothing important

personally, the hairs that fall out while I'm showering get tangled my hands, so I stuck them to the shower wall. I guess that's how the hair extension girl does it too

when I condition and detangle my hair it comes out on my hands and to keep them from plugging the drain I put them on the shower wall, and so much comes out it's scary, the amount that woman had in the video is the amount that comes out my head every time I shower

16:48 I'm laughing so hard I'm CRYING "'who wins for 'she is unwell'" and then- "well we were gonna go for Welbrutrin but it looks like we're going for Zoloft" AND I JUST TOOK MY FIRST ZOLOFT AFTER THINKING I'D WALK OUT WITH WELBRUTRIN. Honestly, this made this day.,

Teeth or hair falling out in a dream is apparently a thing that happens to all of us, and it might signify a fear of loss or change.

As someone who has super long hair, on the video with the the butchered bangs and long hair, THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME! I have had to learn how to cut my own hair because of this happening.
@NovaKnowsBeauty4 жыл бұрын
You just slide the open scissors down the hair. Boom. Done. There should be no actual cutting for that really.

Pro tip: anytime you use tape to mask off anything wet/liquid when you do makeup, or paint a wall, always pull the tape off BEFORE the last coat dries.
