"Fly High" is probably the poppiest of the Nightmare arc. It was not done by their usual production team as well. But it makes sense, since this is a prequel, so bringing in a bit of the Minx sound makes sense to me. There are really heavy parts in it as well, which clearly state that they are not Minx anymore. And I love the dark parts thrown in, they really make the song special. The light part sung by SuA after the metal break is in major, while the rest of the song is in minor. That is why it stands out so much. They did the same in Good Night, but a lot shorter. About the MV: You can see Yoohyeon burning the spider, which brought the curse of the spider queen down on the members. You will see the spider queen again in You and I. In Native American mythology, spiders are considered protectors, that is why a Dreamcatcher resembles a spider's net. That is a brilliant connection to their name! 😊

As an explanation to what is going on, you might want to watch this part again more attentively 12:53. It's very easy to miss but once you see it 😟 There is a thing Yoohyeon does that actually curses them all. We saw a glimpse of this scene at the beginning, someone pulling JiU away from the spider...and then later on in the MV, after seeing all that weird stuff, we see the followup scene from the beginning with Yoohyeon approaching the spider. Which is the cause for everything that happened.

Don't worry too much about matching the names with the faces, that'll come with time. And once you are 100% confident and are able to tell their voices apart, you should watch the Wake Up lyric video again. Then you'll notice that it gets more voices and names wrong more than it gets it right 🤣

U got the name and faces correct 😊 Fly high is prequel for chase me & good night. This music video tell how they became nightmares. Jiu caught a spider n then yoohyeon being controlled by darkness n burned the spider, which angered the spider queen whom then cursed the girls to became 7 nightmares. Hope i was being some help.

I‘m also not good at the lore, but what I know is, the spider is of huge significance to the lore. Yoohyeon killed the spider and that’s the beginning of the Nightmare (series), from which they try to break free till „Piri“, which is on the „End of the nightmare“ Album And I won’t say stuff like „You’re not ready for this or that“, but you‘ll have a real wild ride, so don’t hurry, take your time, we will be here waiting 😊

Dreamcatcher the group is using the Ojibwe traditions about dreamcatchers the objects. Spiders are guardians so when JiU captures it and Yoohyeon burns it they lose their guardian and the creepy stuff starts taking over. The way JiU gets to the gate and instead of escaping locks herself in with the Creepy Stuff over the line "I'm trapped in the nightmare" is terrifying. The next video You and I shows how they go from human girls in that boarding school? to the bored spirits messing with that ghost hunter in Chase Me. If this Siyeon with two color eyes got you then you might want medical personnel on standby for the Odd Eye video. From ten years of photos and video Odd Eye Siyeon is universally accepted as the top Siyeon look and was used for her animated version in their 6th anniversary m/v. Siyeon's Pants was a big meme in early Dreamcatcher, her fashion sense is really unique to her and fits her very well.

The last titel 괜찮아 (spoken Gwaen-chanh-a) can have so many meanings in different context. You can ask someone [Gwaen-chanh-a?] "Are you ok?" if you saw someone trip (but for politeness, you should use the formal form Gwaen-chanh-a-yo) or if your friend is sad. You can answer with [Gwaen-chanh-a] meaning "I'm okay." Or you can console someone, like in this song with [Gwaen-chanh-a] meaning "It's ok." I look forward to you discovering more of the B-sides. This is usually where I pop up and attempt to explain things. Not gonna do it except for one thing. The scene of Yoohyeon touching the mirror which then oozes black goop onto her fingers symbolizes the dark side of her self taking control. She then burns the spider triggering the curse. The seven lights are the 7 colors of the dangerous rainbow which appears in the night and could also refer to the girls once they've gone to the dark side.

Congratulations on the new job🎉 hope everything goes well for you. Every insomnia has problem with Wake Up lyrics video. Those creators racing to be the first one to post it without proper research. Not your fault. This album probably my least favourite of all. Not that i don't like it. I love every song in this album, but lyrics distribution is the worst here. i first listened to these songs without knowing who is singing which parts, absolutely love it. But then it was ruined when i got to know how badly distributed it is.

Gwaenchanha, translated to it's okay, but the English title is Trust Me, is giving me love-hate things. I super like the song (even being my fav ballad among Nightmare era), how the instruments, vocals.. but the distributions are kinda whack imo. Short one-part-only by Gahyeon and Dami, long time to get JiU, even need to wait to outro to get Handong. But yeah the song still too good to be disliked only by those facts. Still better than Sleep-walking, bcs Sleep-walking sounds like Yoohyeon solo song, being overused, but still not an awful song. But tbh it'll be my least fav EDM-drum/bass genre family from them for me
