Reacting To Hate Comments on Stand Up About Religion - Part 1

Promoting science, rational thought and good ideas, through comedy!
This is my first attempt at Reacting To Hate Comments, using only the comments submitted on my very popular 'Stand Up About Religion' compilations. It's funny, entertaining and informative, and I've mischievously sneaked in Dougie, my very cute puppy.

Fantastic - Thank you. I've been quiet on here for a long time because my job as a teacher came to an end, when the owners of the independent school where I worked, were alerted to these videos. So I have been, and still am, busy building up my tutoring business, which is going well, but eating up all my time at present. However, I know it will calm down soon, and I'm focusing on quality of life, rather than making money. Although, I've never been into making money - great at getting rid of it though! 😂 I'm definitely planning on making more videos at some point though - I had a great time making this one. To "come on the clouds of heaven" is Hebraic apocalyptic language meaning to come spiritually in divine judgement and glory using a foreign army (Romans) to pass that judgement. This can only be 70 AD. Then there's all the imminent time statements. It's all consistent with what used to happen in the Old Testament.

@@70AD-user45 okay look, the short version: If you're trying to prove the bible by using the bible, it's the same as trying to prove Gandalf and Saruman's fight by using the Lord of the Rings book series. It's just as valid, since they're books that contain supernatural encounters that are not evidently true. You're only taking the one source and running with it, but that's fallacious. Also your argument is made by any other religion ever, by just replacing the name of the god, the book from which they recite, and the other contextual details that go with the belief. When the argument has the same value, after changing the main points, it means the argument is invalid.

😁 He's bathed almost daily as we go on the beach and in the woods, almost very day for 2 to 3 hours. He's also cuddled all day every day. Unfortunately, I don't play the guitar anymore because the puppy hates it - what a critic! I agree about the cap 😎 Thank you for your positive comments about the video. Hi! Hope you guys are doing well. I came across your video, I guess because I like GC, thus KZbin suggested your vid. I am a very religious person, but at the same time I think GC is hilarious. he is hilarious because his logic is beyond spot on. That is until I did my own research and asked God for guidance. Sadly, GC fell victim to the trap that Jesus said exactly would happen. Jesus came to free you from GC and the church EQUALY. That is what they don’t want you to know. That is why you are lost. ​The problem isn't that I didn't read what you said, I did, the problem is that some things aren't worth looking into, because either A: we may already have, and have come to the conclusion that there's no "there" there, as with religion, or B: the proposition is so ludicrous that it doesn't warrant looking into. Some things might. I think it's entirely possible that humans aren't the only intelligent life in the universe (I certainly effing hope not, for the sake of the universe), but if you told me you were abducted by Aliens, I would have to hold my belief until I saw evidence. I might believe you believe it, but until I see proof, or I experience the same thing, I have no way in hell of knowing whether or not your story is based in reality. There's nothing wrong, and everything right, with withholding belief in incredible things until you have some kind of proof.

It's very simple for every man to understand. God allows everything because the choice is free. Many say that religion kills more people than wars. Yes, that is exactly right. PEOPLE kill in the name of religion, not GOD. Even when he strikes he gives you a choice. During the days of NOA, NOA he asks all people to have faith and come build with him the ship and get in the ship. But they do exactly what all people are doing now. Laugh. This liberty that people have now is because of Jesus. God the father let in his son care the humanity. That whos his sacrifice. To give the people absolute freedom. When you will die you will not have a single defend against him. Do you know why? Because right now all people have the freedom they want. God doesn't make hell for people, God makes hell for the fallen angels and their demons. BUT your choice is to go there. So, in the end, your choice is free to choose where you want to go. The 10 commandments are for people to be normal. You all see what people that don't love God do. Your freedom can extinct the human race. You all say that is not possible. Well if everyone from a young age will want to be like some people with bad influence where humanity will go in the future? Imagine from some shooting games kids are dying in schools. Imagine from some music or movie kids sell drugs and destroy others life. Imagine indoctrinating people with bad information where will they go... That my friend is not God that is human choice. They believe and do in what they see. That's why we have wars that's why we have diseases that's why people believe in those on TV, not on the one that can be felt. The choice for them to kill in his name is the choice for you to ignore those people and be saved. See the pattern there? Your free choice is to choose. If God suggests to not kill, you will not follow and kill those who say that is in the name of God. You reed, your not blind. When someone says something that saying must have a history or proof and think if that is good for you. God doesn't force no one to kill. God doesn't force someone to make something that is beyond their power. He only asks you to believe in him and HE will give you everything you want. You know a see many comments and one of them is. I ask God to give me something but he didn't give me. Is exactly like that. I ask the barber to shave me but i don't go to him to be shaved. Wake up, people. God loves everyone and those who put their trust in him will be protected and save. God is known by what you feel and not by what you see. Your eyes can deceive you but what you feel remain forever. Don't believe in people. Believe in him. Then ask him to show you everything. THEN you will see with your mind and feel at the same time. God bless all people and i pray for all of you to wake up before your time. We all have a choice until THE END. Never forget that.

Everybody has free will within their government confines. Everybody is born with a free will and then subjugated first by their family mostly using religion and then by government. Free will has nothing to do with make-believe beings on Valhalla, Mt Olympus or anywhere else in the universe. You yourself are the only being you must answer to with your behavior. Of course, if you break the laws of government, you will most likely be punished. If you break the rules of religion, nothing will ever happen unless you live in a country imposing religion upon you. That is like Muslim controlled countries and like the rabid radical right wing movement in the US trying to impose their fascist “values“ on everybody. Real Americans are resisting and showing their resistance by voting against the control freaks. What a wonderful world we would have without religion. People would simply turn to science and use reality to resolve problems instead of hiding behind religion or using religion as an excuse for their bad behavior.
