Its nice to see videos like this for everyone coming up the ranks. It helps to see that everyone starts off not feeling confident with certain skills but if you keep at it you will get better. Thanks for sharing

Been watching you for a couple years now. Your desire to succeed is one of your best traits, I believe. Keep doing what you do and you will go far. I also like the way you explain your setups. It gives the rest of us more options to consider. 80% of my setup is due to something you either did or said. Thanks so much!

One of the worst feelings for me is to look back and see all the novice stuff I did and realize man I could’ve done that 110% better 😂 I love the memories tho that defines who you are!

Great video, just ordered some face masks from your store. Keep posting more videos, they help a lot. Do you have a video on DJ insurance? Some venues require insurance.

No I dont. That's a hard video to make because its really locally based to your area

Thanks for sharing Rick, shows how hard work takes you a long way. I'm in my 2nd year and have learned so much since that first wedding lol. I also cringe thinking back to my day one MC skills- gotta practice over and over on the mic!
@chromemusic44014 жыл бұрын
Dude just the fact you are willing to show where you’ve come from is a testimony to how far u you’ve come. You are helping others along the way. (Did you see how far the mic was from your mouth lol)

Cool... Lets check this out.. Much respect Rick, not a lot of us djs go back to show us how you began. I had a question, on the last wedding you indicated a large venue and used harbingers. How did that work out for you?? Appreciate your work & sharing. Take care Rick. Enjoyed twitch mix set ....😷😷

Very cool video, I just bought some equipment and am getting back in to the dj scene. I have 2 weddings booked for end of this year, and currently trying to find a place to setup all my stuff and do a demo. Was hesitant to try the cheap pars but I've seen some of your older videos and they actually look decent. I'm in Ohio.

I just bought a GoPro, I used to use my Phone to record, but I am a one man show, and I am an older man...lol, it was always hard for me to take video of anything while trying to set-up or mix. That might change in the future. I have been watching your video's since 2016. Always good content. I hope to see you again at Future DJ Expos in Atlantic City NJ.

As a dj with mixing, is mixing just blending songs together? Do people really notice a difference?
@DJRickWeb4 жыл бұрын
People do notice a difference. When tempos collide or there is a break in the beat of music people will pause. If you mix them properly people will keep grooving the whole time from song to song not interrupting there dancing.
