The New Yorkshire Revolution! Those were the days lol To say there was nothing going on in Leeds and no venues at that time is really laughable. Whiskas was very much a gatekeeper until enough pound notes were waved in front of him, so I can concur with The Cribs sentiment, though the reality was very much different. You could go to a packed out gig of many sizes any night of the week. I'm not sure that's still the case; sadly.
