Happened to me a few years ago except my girl was in a threesome. My dumbass said “I thought you were the one”, one of the dudes started cracking up, then she covered her mouth trying not to laugh but snorted and burst out laughing. Fucked up part was the night before she wouldn’t shut up about getting married and that I was her soulmate, all bullshit. Instead of walking away I ran over to the dude behind her, since he was on his knees he couldn’t move much so I grabbed him by the hair, yanked him off the bed and broke his nose. She started screaming and ended up calling the police. I got an assault charge and had to pay thousands of dollars and years of probation. Moral of the story is Noel is right, I should have just walked out .and moved on. If the same thing happened today I would take it as a blessing, At least they’re outing themselves as a shitty person before you make a huge commitment.
