But Catholic mass is almost robotic in a way with the way it runs. Also the up and down with the kneeling. Traditional mass never changes so it feels like it drags on forever. Don’t forget the midnight masses and Easter masses that run for 3/4+ hours.

I understand Noel has his own experience growing up in what sounds like a lukewarm Novus Ordo catholic family, but the way he spoke about mass and especially the eucharist was physically painful to listen to. I can’t be the only catholic listening to this podcast. I get that their whole thing is generally being very frank and honest about their opinions for comedic effect, but I’ve seen them bite their tongue on topics before in order to be respectful. Not with this though, for some reason.
