I actually hated Miranda Sings when I was younger. She just made me feel kinda disgusted, I think it was of her constant refrences to her uncle :/ Edit: I thought abt miranda a lot after all this happened and ig what rlly put me off was the way she put on lipstick and the way she talked along with the comments abt her uncle. And ik that it's rlly cliche saying "they always gave me a bad feeling" but she rlly did, idk if its js bc when I was younger I already know some of what the worst parts of the world was or bc my parents educated me abt what adults were safe and what ones weren't. Frankly, this is the 1st video of yours I’ve ever watched. I’m a 66 year old woman who’s best friend has been Television. Due to various circumstances, while growing up, I literally watched 1000’s of hours of T.V., and I was lucky. The State of Oregon had one local Station, so I had 4 channels to choose from, not just the major 3 & PBS. It has always been the only constant in my life. I love the internet, wondering how I ever lived my life without Google? So of course I now am literally addicted to KZbin. I heard about this controversy from a different KZbinr, kyeluh. I didn’t have a clue who Colleen was, but I learned about the allegations through her video. I have to admit, I was intrigued to hear the “apology” song, and I realized I did see it about a month ago. I then noticed that there were other versions of the song, and when I saw this reaction video was available, I clicked on it. What an opportune time to be introduced to your channel. Colleen is one of those instances where its absolutely malice not stupidity. The problem is she intimately understands the power imbalance between her and her fans and she was deliberately taking advantage of it. She wanted a vulnerable little army she could control completely. She pushed their boundaries to deeply uncomfortable places, insulted them, encourage disordered eating in these 13 year olds and it gave her a sense of total control
