I've said this before and I'll say it again... Gary Moore was the greatest guitarist ever to walk this earth! He could play any style going from Rock, Blues, Jazz Fusion and even neo classical. There were and still are some great guitar players but Gary was just a cut above them all. R.I.P Gary, your music lives on! 😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦

Saw him about 9 or 10 times through the 80s and 90s I still reckon to this day Gary Moore is still the greatest guitarist I've ever seen and as far as I'm concerned Donnington 1984 he blew everyone away

This was the best line-up Gary Moore had. Ian Paice on drums, Craig Gruber on bass, Neil Carter on keyboards, guitar and vocals. I think this originally went out as a live simultaneous tv and radio broadcast on the BBC.

Most of that guitar solo is a song called dirty fingers off the album dirty fingers which is Gary Moore's third release. If you go back and listen to it it shows what a shredder he really could be if he wanted to but as a guitarist we all know he was so much more no pun intended lol!

He has never been underrated! He is considered one of THE greatest of all-time. When an artist doesn't sell millions of records, it doesn't mean they are underrated.

@bigdave1302 not underrated by those who know about him, underrated in the sense that he isn't widely known like a Van Halen or a Jimmy Page. Gary moore should be spoken of with the same reverence as those guitar players.
