I love this video, I think you should definitely do a video where you take race footage and do some in-depth technical analysis - breaking down your race phase-by-phase. going through form, mindset/mentality, breathing etc. you can also show races where there's room for improvement (e.g. botched starts, bad execution, nervous etc.) and talk that through and how you corrected that. I think it would be immensely helpful for younger/developing sprinters when they hear a professional analyze their races. I am sure such a video would do very well!
@DIPPLEDORP4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Like how do you be explosive yet relaxed at the same time.
@AlexM-hm2wb3 жыл бұрын
@@DIPPLEDORP I'm a mid distance runner but my coach has been teaching me to become more relaxed. It sounds weird but eventually you start to understand. I am not that good but it is about shutting off the muscles that aren't doing anything. It is probably much more in depth and important in the sprints.

You’re totally correct about your premature lean. If you watch the slow motion from the finish line, you are actually starting to stand up straight again. Definitely could have hit 995 or 994. Crazy good start! Keep driving!
