Community organizer MiDian Holmes and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser gave statements after a jury found Peter Cichuniec and Jeremy Cooper both guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Elijah McClain in 2019. Cichuniec was also convicted on one count of second-degree assault. Cooper was acquitted on both assault charges. Read more here: www.9news.com/article/news/lo...

@@christopherrandallnicholsonbecause if they were to punish the cops on a regular basis, cops would be hesitant to do the foul crap that they do. Our government requires for them to behave like that. If they were to punish them, then the government wouldn't have willing loyal thugs to do their evil.

The fact the EMTs were found responsible yet not the police is insane. The police are just as coulpable in this as those paramedics. They all belongnin prison. Just proves that APD is still as corrupt as it has always been.

👨‍⚖️ ~ I don’t like her speech. I don’t like the part where she’s talking about this is the judge’s legacy. Maybe I would say the same thing if I was her and I wanted a tough sentence, in fact I probably would do it. But she’s acting like there is one truth. She doesn’t say she wants to judge to throw the book at them, but that’s what she wants. If they got any more than two years for manslaughter that would be crazy. I’m a little bit mixed on what the paramedics did giving him the medicine, but it’s completely different than a cold blooded criminal who’s robbing people or shooting them out of anger. I just think about how the judge is back in the past reacted to black defendants. They felt like they had to throw the book at them even when it was not warranted. They were pressured by the public. Same way she is trying to pressure the judge now based on the public. I’m not gonna say I’m always against that. I feel like there should be a process besides just one judge having complete discretion. That’s how the system is. And then it all comes back to her believing there is one clear universal truth written on golden tablets sent down from heaven.

Carrinig a badge and a gun doesn't give you a right to just grab people walking down the street simply because of the way they look and harrass them without an explanation. The young man had to be devastated for walking home after stopping at the store, something that he probably had done many times before. He kept asking why, what the reason was for the cops to being hurting him like that. I along with his mother , hope their souls rot in Hell for the way they treated Elijah McClain ! 😏 .

Exactly ! 500 mg of Ketamine is nowhere near fatal, fatal dose is x8 times of that. All paramedics should resign and let them treat themselves on their own. Paramedics are being paid near minimal wage, and it takes just 6 months of training to become one, and yet they are expected to have the same level of responsibility that Doctors have after 10 years of medical education. Just in 6 months of training. Id freaking quit right now, if THEY are going after paramedics now in addition to cops, it means every time theres a psycho or drug addict overdosing and dying now the family will be going after them Paramedics and one is risking prison time every time when dealing with these people. Quit and apply for Walmart, same wage and zero responsibility. Somebody dying ? Call 911 and mind your own business. Oh, no cops or paramedics coming ? Well, YOU asked for that, you demonized them, now good luck to you 😄 Perhaps Jesus will save ya 🤔

@@a.w.4011 you will be dying with no one coming to help, because the already stressed out and underpaid paramedics will say fk it with that madness, we aint risking losing our freedom and will pursue a different career. Already takes sometimes over 20 minutes to get an ambulance in larger cities, nobody wants to work that masochistic job, dealing with crazy people on daily bases for minimal wage. And for what ? To be imprisoned for decades just they delivered a slightly higher dosage of a sedative ?! Once again, 500 mg of Ketamine is nowhere near fatal nor life threatening. Google it up. Yet, they are now being found guilty in death somehow ! Read the autopsy report, he aspirated vomit into trachea and lungs, because of having ski mask on. Which resulted in hypoxia and damage to heart and brain. Basically suffocated himself by own vomit masses. Ketamine was and can not be the cause of death, not 500 mg which they simply slightly miscalculated. Per National Institutes of Health the official recommended dosage of Ketamine is 3 to 6 mg/lb, meaning for 140 lb man they needed 420 mg if taking the minimal rec. dosage of 3 mg/lb, they gave him 500, well i guess they had no weight scales to measure his weight while he was fighting the cops. Fatal or near fatal dosage is 4000 mg . They did not cause his death by Ketamine, he suffocated on his own vomit because of wearing ski mask. Have fun wating for ambulance 1 hour or more when most Paramedics quit over that madness, and good luck as you will sure need it. Good luck with suing too, as there wont be anyone left to sue 🤭

Most people dont know and assume paramedics are some kind of doctors or at very least at nurse level type of "professionals" in medical field. When in reality all it takes is 6 months of training to be "trained" for one. They only know to do the most basic things, take vitals, do an IV, and perform CPR. They are being paid near minimal wage too. After this verdict, id think twice before clocking in for that job, dealing with psychos and drug addicts on daily bases, with very poor training in medical field, and risking going to prison in anything goes wrong. Now they gonna blame paramedics in addition to cop every time some psycho or drug addict dies. Work at Walmart for same wage and never worry about anything 😉
