I remember when I heard about my childhood best friend kind of going off the deep end and vaguely what happened at some raves near by. I've never been so worried. I'm glad to say that even though he overdosed twice that summer he's doing great now. When he told me what happened it was really hard to not cry. For reference we've known each other since about 4 years old and we are 29 this year. Literally so long we don't remember a time of not knowing each other

So this song is technically a remix of a song off his first album Gazing at the Moonlight which sold like 500 copies that song Chris Dolmeth and its more indepth than this and goes into specific. Hop has always been straight edged potentially as a result of his friend. You should check the original out though

this song always reminds me of my sister, she’s older than me but she’s the second youngest, and she got on heroin, she was my best friend and still is, but she relapsed twice, and now she takes a prescribed drug that is a substitute to heroin because she can’t function without it, and as her younger brother it kills me seeing her like that, my brother is the same way with alcohol, anytime i talk to him he’s drunk, he can’t go with not drinking and being the youngest sibling it worries me that one day i’ll get a phone call that one of them passed because of bad decisions.

My best friend of 12 years died March 27th of 2022 after he was sold fentanyl-laced marijuana. He would have turned 18 2 months after his death, and would have graduated 3 months later. I'll never understand people who abuse drugs.
