Fun fact: This Disney movie is actually based on the Marvel comics. It’s no wondered why Stan Lee makes a cameo at the very end. RIP legend. *Excelsior* !

Fans have been theorizing about Tadashi potentially surviving the explosion since the movie first came out. One of those theories was based on the fact that in the comics, one of the members of Big Hero 6 was the Japanese mutant Sunfire, who ended up joining along with Hiro (who was basically his biggest fan in the comics). The theory is basically 'Tadashi is Sunfire'.

Should be renamed, viewers are tired of Disney's "family has to die" rule.
@MammalianCreature3 ай бұрын
Yeah, as soon as I learned it was based on a comic and that Disney animated it I knew Tadashi wasn't surviving through the movie. Both comics and Disney films are notorious for their "family member has to die for character development" trope usage. Still annoying even when you see it coming.

Yokai was a massive disappointment for me, as someone who cares a LOT about the antagonist and/or villain. However, this movie is still enjoyable, and this moment is honestly so good.
