This episode really shows why Ultra magnus was Prime's second in command, He's the only autobot other than prime who we have actually seen put up a fight against megatron without getting bodied immediately

@@megatronusorionpax4900 while your not wrong he lasted like only a few seconds and was able to get a couple hits in. Ultra Magnus actually could put up a real fight. But yeah I agree bulkhead is also kinda a standout, mostly due to his brute strength

this episode really showed the level of maturity Smokescreen had . he knew that being a Prime was going to be too much responsibility for a quick learner as himself and he knew that only Optimus Prime would be the only one who could guide the Autobots. but you gotta really commend Smokescreens character development in this episode.

W episode! Glad to see Ratchet praising Smokescreen in the end. I think after he rejoined Raf and Bee, he's been trying his best to put Cybertron aside in his heart and didn't pop off at him for using the forge's last bit of energy to not restore the Omega Lock. Ratchet is one of my fav characters

Isn’t this episode amazing?! Optimus 2.0 is so freaking badass. And Smokescreen using the forge to help Optimus instead of himself becoming a Prime already shows his awesome character development. He kept saying how he was destined for greatness. But he knew this was not his time just yet. That in itself shows he would make a great Prime.

Ultra Magnus has a compartment designed to hold the Matrix but he mostly uses it as a safe. He never felt he was worthy enough and respects Prime and is loyal to him like Soundwave is to Megatron. He’s never been worthy to my knowledge and again he keeps it in his chest compartment for safe keeping if Optimus is injured or something.

The thing on Optimus Primes back is essentially just a Jetpack it’s not a being or it’s own bot. Some of the iterations of Jetpack Prime has had the Jetpack be the Trailer of vehicle mode some have had it just as a roofing like flatbed trucks have, with the windows that detach. In this case I think he just stores it in the back of his truck mode like cargo.

In the 86 Movie Ultra Magnus is bestowed the matrix by a dying Optimus, however he is unable to use it and is temporarily killed by Galvatron, who steals it only for Hot Rod to steal it from him, becoming Rodimus Prime, having been chosen by the Matrix when he caught it when Optimus dropped it trying to give it to Magnus in the first place. (Magnus was rebuilt by the junkions)

One of the biggest highlights of the series, Prime finally returning at the turn of the tide. Interesting subversion of the original Prime death plotline from the movie where Hot Rod becomes the new Prime. If we get this plotline in some other continuity they should finally let Ultra Magnus become one and lead.

in one Battle the Autobots have evened the odds and now with Optimus back and upgraded thanks to the forge of souls prime we now have a big edge over the cons now that there fortress is gone but now Both sides have less resources since the Autobots now operate out of the military base Fowler works at and they lost a lot of stuff when the Omega one base went down but the cons don't have there fortress and probably lost a lot of energon since the fusion canons probably took a lot of energon to run combine that with all the dead vehicon troopers and insectacon's the cons lost effectively 50 percent of there army and the Autobots got some reinforcements with ultra Magnus and now wheeljack is permanent member of the team and now the town of jasper can be rebuilt and the people along with jack June miko and Raf can have there old homes back

We’re about to get into some of the best of TFP. As a sidenote, for future shows I recommend Transformers Cyberverse (just have to endure the first season, 2 and 3 are amazing). Or, outside of Transformers, the How To Train Your Dragon franchise. If you DO decide on HTTYD, I’d be happy to let you know the proper watch order.
