Funny I often think how happy if anyone of my kids introduce her as their new partner. Living with someone so driven and intelligent yet with what looks like possible ADD is not easy. I know because my wife was offered a full university ride out of grade 9 and is my biggest critic keeping me from ever getting away from lying to myself. Her ADD means she needs what I call complete chaos and to be jugging many things at once to stay focused. During the first few years I felt a little left by the way side to be honest but I grew to live in a constant state of amazement at what I saw every say and love it more. I see a lot of my wife in Emma, the fire passion and drive, the not willing to be told you are just a girl so don't expect this or that. I bet Emma could tell such stories but her life is hers to share as she sees fit. To many girls are told what they can do in life, my daughter 33 had just a grade 12 education. However on her own she learned to code and learnt various software. She started out as a trainer for a medical software company that serves hospitals around the globe and with that experience she was able to create a new product for these hospitals incorporating all she saw and heard them say they needed. She is not product owner pulling in six figures a year with bonuses and say in how the company is run.

There is a site called "google" - there you will find a search bar. Type in "reactionary" and "definition" or "meaning" and hit the "enter" key, and the site will come up with definitions and explanations, even in simple language if that's helpful for you. My usage of "reactionary" adheres to the established definition of the term - and in light of the political, social and economical conditions all across the word it's pretty much a synonym of "insane" at this point, at least for anybody not living in denial of reality. Hope I could help with the google thing - it's not as complicated as it seems, I promise.

@Emma For your garden: Try the peels of citrus fruits. Save them if you eat them, or pick them if you have a cheap source such as a lemon tree with a lot of wasted fruit. Then spread them around the soil. Cats hate the smell. My grandmother had this problem and it helped quite a bit. It won't drive them away instantly, but they will begin going elsewhere---or at least they did for her.

Emma, I think you are beautiful and wonderful and intelligent and silly and compassionate and wise and a whole bunch of other nice things. I honestly think that those who hate you deep down actually love you a lot and just can't come to terms with the fact that they love what they've been conditioned to hate so they lash out. I think that's probably the case for most hate, the emotion behind it comes from the volatile conflict of natural perceptions against deep set beliefs. Children are open and curious, this is our most natural state, our beliefs twist us into false egos but I think deep down we all know that everyone is worthy of understanding. I know you say you don't but don't take any of it to heart, these people are sick.
