We love ours. I agree, it is a step down from the Escalade. However, it costs less than the X and I think has more to offer. Super roomy. More range, back massage, several others. Thx for the vid. I enjoyed watching.

Of all the EV’s out today, the Lyriq is by far the best looking, certainly better than any Tesla. It’s just too big for us. We are waiting on the Optiq.

i just bought one. Upgrade form a ford fusion. The car isn't that much bigger. Wider for sure but its only 5" longer than a ford fusion.

We love ours 3 weeks in so far, one road trip over 700 miles and no issues. EA was for the most part cooperative with pre conditioning using google to find the next EA worked well. Hyper-mile behind semi-trucks at night on 95 going south helped with getting 3.3 mile/KWh avg on the trip.(20 inch wheels) Our first EV and no regrets. QMerit installed out EVSE last week and keeping it tethered when not in use seems to be the trick. For now setting the charge limit to 70% SOC works for us as locally we do not rack up muck mileage. Supercruise is the icing on the cake. You have an honest review. Thanks

Really enjoyed this review. Most reviews get too technical and I zone out. But your review made Lyriq EV easier to understand. Plus it was cool to see all of your cool rides like the Escalade and the C8. After seeing this clip, I’m becoming more interested in buying my first EV.

When driving in Supercruise in the left most lane, you don't need to put your hand on the wheel. But you must keep eyes forward on the road.

This vehicle was well worth the wait. I feel like I cheated General Motors. It’s a $100,000 car. I love my Lyriq. Performance, looks and quality. Checks all the boxes. I’m so glad I waited them out. 👌🏾

Very helpful review! Regarding the charge port door, your issue may be why neither the upcoming Escalade iQ nor the Vistiq will have the automated door, as I understand it.

I have a Lyriq AWD Luxury 3. I have only a few gripes: #1 The usbc flash drives don't get recognized or indexed properly. The system can't recognize FOLDERS. I am forced to listen to my music randomly. 3000 songs of different genres coming on RANDOMLY. I've never had that problem before with any other system. #2 The RANGE is promised to be "up to 300 miles". I have 22 inch rims and during the winter, I'm seeing more like less than 250. Efficiency is about 1.9 kWh per mile which is objectively bad. Sometimes, I use 2-3 miles of range per mile. #3 You can't open the glove box till you come to a complete stop or PARK. #4 EVgo is offered to you: free charging for 2 years. Unfortunately, EVgo is the WORST charging infrastructure here in NY. We barely have any chargers. Electrify America is more ubiquitous.

Great video, you did a good job. I think im ready to pull the trigger. Got my check, in hand from the credit union. Test drove the 2024 AWD sport 3 black with the grey interior. Just on the fence about quality. I’ve not been a fan of GM products.

FYI, there is nothing 'wrong' with your charge port door. All of the Lyriqs are the same - and jerky like that.

Mine is in the shop for the 2nd time since I bought it 6 months ago for complete electrical shut dow which required it to be towed from my garage. What if it died while on the freeway, this would be super dangerous. While I like the looks and the drive, it has too many problems. Trying to get a buyback under my state's lemon law.

Mine has only been in the shop once. And, of course, all of the errors that were popping up didn't show for them. I had a "Service High Voltage System" error. Sometimes my speakers have a bunch of static in them. They half fixed the door handle, the paint is still missing. I'll wait until something else big happen before I fix that. This will teach us to buy first year models in the future.

Just took possession of a Lyriq Sport 3. I also own a Mach E. Despite both being mid sized SUVs they are very different cars. The Cadillac has a much more refined ride and luxurious interior, the Ford is much sportier in it's handling and doesn't feel so heavy. One the whole the Ford has a better UI on the software. The STUPIDEST thing on the Cadillac is the inability to turn off the fake engine noise like to can on the Ford.

The motors are the best thing about this LYRIQ. Isn't almost everything made in China now? The Macbook Pro I'm writhing this with, the desk that it's sitting on, and the TV that I'm watching right now. All working great btw. I didn't have any problems out of my Escalade. I kind of miss it.

MPCs all day! I don't enjoy the newer cars, they are more for the wife. She's a Realtor and people have to see success sometimes for they will work with you. I love my 1987 Grand National the most but it turned into a money pit.

I love how people think they actually get the tax rebate. NO YOU DONT. when the tax rebate was increased all EV prices increased the same amount. ITS A SCAM.
