It generates a defined amount of passengers per tick, so if you block more buildings from spawning the defined amount of passengers just spawn in an existing building, eventually leading to the point where they spawn too fast to be picked up, no matter how many houses you have connected to the network.

Traffic lights are super useful! They're like mini roundabouts that fit in places were a roundabout wouldnt fit! Also pretty good when you got like a bunch of houses merging into a single road, you can like split the houses in two groups and make them join in a junction into a single road with a traffic light, and trust me it reaaally speeds things too over each car having to wait for the other to cross.

You really need to aggregate all the driveways onto a single cul-de-sac whenever possible. Also, those blue houses on the left were ripe for motorway-ing to speed up their access, delete a tunnel, and get a bunch of space back to reorganize the upper left quadrant entirely.

I don't know that might be a map where it could be better to let the colors intermingle... in fact maybe that's what the devs are trying to force you to do, because the way everything was spawning made it very difficult to keep them separate. something else I was wondering: what if you use the motorways the same as real life, as a mass transport (all colors intermingled) to connect hubs together? I never got around to playing this one, although I did play AQR

You should check out cinematic mode which came with this update, it allows you to view your commuters journeys, and no changes happen when you are in cinematic mode so you don't have to panic about a house suddenly appearing at a bad place!

Don’t know if this will help, but buildings don’t spawn where roads are built. Sometimes when I play I use my extra road tiles temporarily to block off areas of the map so that new buildings don’t spawn there (until I need the tiles back)

Ah, but the replay value of Mini Motorways is that the more you play, the more you begin to spot the patterns of what colours spawn where. The idea is that the more you play (and fail) the more you learn, and the better you become 😁

@@Techy93 But "Cairns" is not a dialect thing. Matt literally just pronounced it wrong. And the worst thing is, he listened to the correct pronunciation and STILL did it wrong. If you go to a different country and any local tells you how to pronounce the names of their towns and cities, you don't just make up your own pronunciation for shits and giggles because "dialect". You say it how the locals say it, because that's how it's supposed to be pronounced. Americans with Melbourne are the worst, but if you dared to pronounce Arkansas or something differently, they'd lose their f-ing shit.
