This week on the New Detectives - A young mother is found murdered near her Indiana home, investigators have only one piece of evidence to help them find her killer, when a female body is discovered along banks of a Alabama river, detectives must rely on a few tiny shreds of evidence to make their case. In New York, a woman is found dead at the bottom of a flight of stairs, police must determine if he death is a suicide or murder.

Well my ex had no problem secretly having another family with another woman, emotionally neglecting his legitimate children and me and gaslighing me with a focused plan to have me either kill myself or drive me to madness. The plans set up by him and the other woman took hold of me and I did end up stressed to the point where I simply ran. By this time the other woman had become afraid they'd be found out and moved to another state - far from where we were living. My ex was left on his own. I label him him a family destroyer as he killed our family life. Just as wicked as murder in my eyes. Adulterers should avoid deception: if one spouse is not enough be brave enough to say so, then everyone can make decisions based on reality.

@@nilgiridreaming So sorry you had to put up with that S**t. As you say be brave enough to come clean as you are and then everyone can live based on reality not the philandering of deadbeat men/women. There's women who do that too but it's mostly a guy thing - I just don't get it at all. Where do they get the energy and time and $$ to do this ?? Stay strong and be brave yourself, you deserve a better man.

In the first story, the killer got 60 years in prison; in the second story, the killer got life in prison; and in this last story, this killer got 20 years to life. But in all these 3 stories of murder, I didn’t hear the two most critical words: WITHOUT PAROLE, meaning that these three scumbag killers will eventually be out of prison. Swell really swell! (Being sarcastic). What kind of justice is that??? And what kind of message the criminal justice system is sending out to the killers?? That it is okay to go ahead and kill more individuals knowing that they will be out someday??? The criminal justice system in the US sucks, really sucks.....it is for the birds! They protect more the so-called “rights” of the perpetrators than the rights of the victims. Disgusting, very disgusting and disgraceful, truly disturbing. Makes me sick to my stomach. 🤮🤮🤮

I hate to say it, but the first two stories in that 60 minute episode, did NO favors to African-American men. I'm Japanese-American, born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up, so I know a thing or two about being stereotyped and discriminated against.

I’m watching in 2021 so don’t know when you answered. I’ve listened to quite a few of these and what I don’t understand is the difference in sentences. Is it a different State thing, isn’t there a more nation wide sentencing . Oh dear, have I made sense there. One man murders his wife or girlfriend and gets 60 years. Another man murders someone and gets 20 odd years. Where is the difference. Murder is murder. Sometimes I’d get curious and go back and look at the video as well as just listening and it seems to me that if you’re African American ( please excuse me if I get all these new fanged titles right, I mean no offence) you get more time! It was this video ( I think) that the man got 60 years and yet the next man ( white) got far less. That seems wrong to me. I’ll watch a few more and see what happens. Take care in these funny times. Masks mandatory here again but no lockdown - yet😷 😷😷😷😷🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I don't understand how any medical examiner can come to a conclusion about cause of death when he's lifting the sheet from a tiny portion of the body. Please!!!! How stupid do the producers think we are???????

It’s just for the video content... most of video are just people acting out what happened and a few clips of the real crime scene were added... if you look at the mugshots and the person who were in the video you would have realized it’s two different people An Autopsy process is a long one...I don’t see why they would include that in the video

They're not suppose to show everything because killers are learning from the shows as well so they make it simple. That's better than you getting killed by someone who watched very detailed murders show and learning how to clean every scientific evidence that will leave your murder unsolve.

1st case: When they said her head was in a garbage bag, I wondered whether the perp had done this before. It seemed so thought-out. Then Ricky Joyner tried to say the jury was racist, was why they convicted him. 2nd case: ``The head was in an extreme state of decomposition,'' investigator says. ``We had extreme difficulty even picking it up.'' Didn't they use a fishnet?

Indiana - 1992- A father Ruben called police as his 25 year old daughter Sandra was missing. Sandra had an ex boyfriend named Shaun Parks and she had a son by him. Sandra had a date with a co worker named Ricky Joiner the day she disappeared. One and a half months later Sandra’s body was found in an isolated field. A black man killed Sandra and the Black Lives Matter Protesters seen at Floyd’s death were nowhere to be seen. In the second episode another black man named Billy Lesley was becoming increasingly violent towards another Sandra who was white and still no Black Lives protesters were seen.

You are nuts! All lives matter, true. But, whatever your ethnicity ( sounds middle eastern or Asian) , if people from your ethnic background were constantly being shot by police while unarmed, handcuffed, defenseless etc. would you be protesting the murder of ethnicities other than your own by over zealous hateful, racist police? Your statement is by no means germane to this case.

BLM is used to con gullible people into their racist hate filled cult. They don’t care about black lives at all ? They spread divisions and hate in order to gain power over the narrative. Name one positive thing they’ve done while obtaining nearly $100’000’000 in donations ?
