Yes, her initial lack of response to Princess Diana’s death was a huge mistake. I can’t help but wonder if her decision came from the mother/grandmother part of her, thinking she was doing what was best for them, rather than the political side.
@moonlitdesert2 жыл бұрын
They had Diana's two grandsons there at Balmoral. For once she put family before duty to do what was best for the two boys and not have them gawked at by the hysterics around at the time. She herself on the death of her beloved father had been brought up to show no grief - she stuck strictly to tradition, as she has always done. When she did come back down to London some idiot in the crowd shouted at them "look after the boys". The lovely Duke of Edinburgh turned to that person and said "what do you think we've been doing"! So with a mixture of having to look after her grandchildren and her dedication to duty, the poor woman was stuck between a rock and hard place. She issued a statement after Diana's death, it was sufficient.

Princess Anne was ALSO the FIRST to take her children, Peter and Zara, along with Charles' kids, William and Harry, to go to Thorpe Park (amusement rides) and the 4 cousins had a great time. However, when Diana found out, she scheduled a time for her to go, but ONLY with William and Harry (she did NOT include Peter and Zara). Diana also did her usual trick and called the paparazzi ahead of time, and told them meet her and the boys at the Plume Ride, so that SHE got her pictures in the mags and rags, with the boys having a good time and the magazines claimed that Diana was the first to do something as "normal" as going to an amusement park. (Diana always prompted the boys to LIE and tell the paps that "yes" it was the first time they "did" anything they were doing. It was a very useful maneuver, if not true at all. William hated to lie, but Harry thought lying and fooling people was great fun. Their character was already forming.)

And Charles purposefully maligned her damn name long after she was dead so that she couldn't even fight back... absolutely disgusting. You think William's lazy, cheating arse isnt a freaking hypocritical liar eh???? You can call one a liar because her PRIVATE LETTERS AND TEXTS WERE EXPOSED by her lying assinine brother and sister in laws over an FF book (that had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LETTER TO HER FATHER - WAS IN FACT WRITTEN AFTER THE LETTER) and yet it's not a lie that William theough a temper tantrum because the BBC didnt let him have his way with the script ahead of time and then subsequently boycotted them???? Kate doesnt work but 3 to.4 days A MONTH. 7 is a shocking. Barely visits her patronages. In fact, she didnt visit Action for Addictiion for OVER 8 YEARS. They literally edited the part where it was mentioned of her absence out... but that isnt considered a lie ???? The maligning image that was portrayed of Diana didnt come until the leading moments before her death and then after when she couldn't defend herself any longer. Matter fact, charles press secretary Mark Bolland was given the total of "spin" secretary because of all the manipulation they used to make Diana look bad at Charles disgusting adulterated self. What you dont hear all the time is the fact that Diana WAS MURDERED and everything surrounding her death was covered up. Including the driver's toxicology report along with the wreck details. Smh... this is an hilarious comment you literally just made up while you malign Diana and then Harry. Lol. Yea ok. And the rest of that disgusting lot aren't liars???? Diana was the best thing that ever happened to that family. YUCK! Those look like body parts; I see a bookend, a beating heart, a pair of lungs, and a piece of a bowel system, then a pink glove, a safety pin in an orange diaper, another bookend, another beating heard and another pair of lungs. What does all that mean? Do you know WHY we quit using hieroglyphics hundreds of years ago? Do you know HOW MUCH WORK it was to invent a spoken and written language and teach it to GENERATIONS of our children? And how beautiful all those languages are? WHY are you helping the Japanese attack the written word? Are they paying you, as Maggot pays her disruptors?

@@Kurt24x OK, let's start at the beginning. You said "you're" which is a contraction of "you are." YOU SAID, "what are you talking about please explain in you're proper ways of thinking you make no sense" HOW does "you are proper ways of thinking" make any sense? The proper word would be "your" (a personal pronoun) but that still does not make any sense. You use NO periods or capital letters. Those "orange blobs" serve the role of hieroglyphics (which we stopped using hundreds of years ago since they (too) make no sense. Humans invented the written and spoken word and you have (instead) inserted silly shapes/blobs that can mean anything. To me, they look like various body parts; hearts and lungs. IF you meant something else, then SAY SO! When you use ridiculous "shapes" your meaning is lost or muddled. Are you working for the Japanese? Do you understand why they are attacking the written word?

I’ve watched this THREE TIMES! Even though Bertie abused his second son George, and teased (bullied) him about his stutter, George was a Great King. His family loved each other, and he was stalwart and dutiful throughout WWII, and to the end. He never wanted nor expected to be King. He taught Her Majesty Elizabeth well. Duty. Service. Loyalty. Both the King and Crown Prince William learned from her. Did you know that the entire time William attended Eaton, he had a private audience with HMTQ? Every Sunday for an hour. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to witness the wisdom she gently imparted.

I think you're right Joan. Life as she knew it exploded when she was 10. From a happy child to queen in training overnight, I think she's done an amazing job but through the years it's been said that she threw herself when she got the chance to be lilibet wife, mum, daughter sister with gusto. Thatcher even bought the Queen a pair of marigolds when she noticed she didn't have any. I think she shocked most of the PMs by lobbing a tea towel at them to dry up. She's 45 years older than me yet has twice as much stamina I think she's been amazing, I just wish she was able to do more instead of parliament but there you go. We have had a terrible history between us when you look back haven't we Joan. It saddens me that there's so many people who don't know or have never looked into the history....just gone by tabloids and we all know how manipulative and offer a one sided view they give.
