I really like the idea of having a box in the back when you have a biggest distance between shelves, so you can have 2 rows of books. I shall try to implement that as well!

Looks great. If we can get the publishers to stick to less sizes on their books it would be easier! I have a ton of older books so I have many more paperbacks and small hardcover (bookclub) editions to fight with. Also needed a shelf just for anthologies. I have considered separating my arc's and autographed editions but have not figured that out yet. Shelf tour 2021???!

Love it! Richard from "AreYouIntoHorror" has some really interesting shelf organization too. Very unique how he loaded his shelves. I just envy people with book shelves lol. I have 2 little ones under my bedside table and the rest I've read I put on the shelf in my closet

Mike on those $35 shelves from Target. I buy an additional one for every three bookcases. I then add a shelf to the lower half of each case. Works out great!

I so need to get another bookcase (or two) and sort my own shelves. Looking at this makes me imagine I'm getting it done, so maybe that'll rub off and actually happen. One thing I wonder is, how you go so long not getting interrupted? I know I know, there's editing and all, but many of us for most of the day are getting interrupted every 5 minutes, or can't even go to the lavatory without someone interrupting us wanting something.

Alright Mike and fellow bookworms. Like you, Dune is my number 1 all time book, and I haven't read past the first book. I've been afraid to tackle the rest of Dune after I heard it never lives up to the first one. I've read Dune about 3 times now, and listened to the audio book over the years and I can't bring myself to read beyond it. Should I keep it there on the pedestal, or should I tackle the rest of Frank's writing?
