I think he correlates bodybuilding and strongman together. There is no doubt Larry is strong, but he is starting at square one with the weakest links in the chain. As Devon has said, "Strongmen are the most functionally strong men on the planet," so for men like Brian, there are fewer weak links, and those links are far beyond a bodybuilder.

That's what I was thinking. Shaw is obsessed with competition. It is obvious he did NOT want to stop strongman but time/age is undefeated. He doesn't have many other options with his build. All that's left, which ironically is the best fit, is arm wrestling which as Larratt mentioned, the age limit is much longer so-to-speak. It is the logical route to go for him.

Pradeep I want to correct you on the part about rehab. When you're a fresh armwrestler, you need rehab ALL the time. When I started, my arms were very soar, had multiple concerns with my elbow and wrist. Many suggest even going with a "rehab" type of training (with about 50 reps in many exercises every day if possible) for the first few months so your muscles and tendons can get used to armwrestling as the movements are not very natural for our body.
