The new top-of-the-line Tungsten trim is the most luxurious truck Ram has ever offered, outfitted with dual-textured metal accents, quilted alternative leather trim, a 14.5-inch infotainment display, and a 10.25-inch front passenger screen.
The full-size pickup truck market is dominated by the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which are currently the two best selling vehicles in the U.S., as well as the Ram 1500 which slots in at number three. The GMC Sierra 1500 (twin to the Silverado) and Toyota Tundra don't sell at the same level as the top three trucks, but still have a lot to offer. The updates for the 2025 model year should help the Ram maintain its position near the top of the class.

Engine Correction: With the demise of the Hemi V8, the 2025 Ram 1500 gets a line of new 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six engines. The standard version delivers 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque, matching the output of the 6.2-liter V8 in the Chevrolet Silverado and exceeding the 400 horses delivered by the 5.0-liter V8-equipped Ford F-150. Higher trims get a high output version rated at 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque. That's 90 hp more than Ford's high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Ram carried over the tried and true 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. All three engines are teamed with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and four-wheel drive are available. Ram hasn’t released acceleration figures, but full throttle in the truck equipped with the most powerful turbocharged engine will set you back in the seat. Acceleration is strong even at highway speeds, and while the engine sounds good, we do miss that V8 roar.

I was really looking forward to this video since I just ordered a loaded '25 hydro blue Rebel. But when he talked about the poor gas mileage the Rebel gets with the Hemi V-8, I basically just watched the rest of it to see what my truck will look like when it gets delivered.

The V8 Hemi is not offered. The only powere plant is the V6 Hurricane SO

@@RonsSRT I have a 21 with a Hemi now. Absolutely love it! Love the power love the sound! They neutered one of the best power plants in this segment. Won’t be long before they are a 4 cylinders.

@@johnb6014 You are correct! I didn’t know that. I love the Hemi. I have the Hurricane now. It’s not terrible, the drivetrain is really smooth. But it’s no Hemi. I miss the sound.

Even the CEO came out and admitted that he was arrogant when it came to the Ram brand and its sales!For the 2025 Ram stick with the Hemi 5.7 as it is a very reliable and durable engine!

I see that you corrected your engine screw up in the comments but you should really take this video down and redo it because all of your numbers are wrong including the towing capacity and everything else. It's pretty bad when you go through a detailed review of a brand new model and you don't do your research about the fact that the hemi has been discontinued on all platforms for 2025 and replaced with the hurricane. Not a good look bro

Ram definitely cut corners on the new 1500, the grill and lights definitely look cheaper than the old truck and the new 6 cylinder needs premium fuel and won't be as reliable as the old v8.

Rebels are very capable but might as well get the 2500 for that price! Resale on Rams are terrible so that is another negative.
