A good tip to mark bolt holes in steel or card/ wood etc is to find bolts with correct thread,cut the head off, sharpen one end to a point , screw the non pointy end in to the threaded holes , hold the steel in position and tap sharply to leave your indentations where to drill.

Get a roll of ram board from your local building supply place...makes for great templates. Its the paper board stuff they put on to protect your new floors on a new construction project.

When i saw the thumbnail i was shocked, thought it was a 1st gen Daewoo Matiz, the M150 model that was sold under Chevi’s badge in Europe as the Chevrolet Spark. Then i noticed 3 wheels… it’s wild that 1998 body with 2000s restilyngis still being made.

Silicone spray works much better at lubricating hoses for install, and doesn't make a mess. You might pick up a can at O'Reilly's next trip. Not sure I wouldn't have just bent some tubing and had some short rubber ends for the U hose. Movement from engine may be an issue. It still bugs me that the dip stick is on the "inside" instead of pointed at the back.

Try using an air hammer with a round head to remove the axle. I fought a Honda cr-v for two days. the sales rep at O'Ryles gave me the tip. took 2 min. LOL

the really odd thing is I think I may have driven this car. a shady little car dealer had one back around 2010 and out of curiosity had to look at the obscure car. it had both the clip above the 3rd headlight and the broken license plate lights. be really curious to see where this all has been in its life

Grease works better and wipes back off the flange an 80 year old farmer showed me 25 years ago when I was trying to make some paper case gaskets for a dirt bike I stored on his property also showed me that a 9/16 with a nickel for a spacer will get a 7/16 bolt loose and a penny with it fits a 1/2 bolt old guy always had a banding steel knife on him and a 9/16 wrench when he was out and about tinkering around the farm
