The Christmas tree had me laughing! I worked for quite a few years in parts and ordered oversees and it’s wild what would come in sometimes due to someone at customs or shipping making a mistake! Great video as usual and awesome job on getting this thing closer to complete!

Jared, The card Stock you want comes from Cereal boxes. I love them. also, drum head boxes. and construction paper

A good tip to mark bolt holes in steel or card/ wood etc is to find bolts with correct thread,cut the head off, sharpen one end to a point , screw the non pointy end in to the threaded holes , hold the steel in position and tap sharply to leave your indentations where to drill.

Get a roll of ram board from your local building supply place...makes for great templates. Its the paper board stuff they put on to protect your new floors on a new construction project.

Jared, you need a profile/contour gauge for fabrication. Traditionally used for woodworking/tiling.

When i saw the thumbnail i was shocked, thought it was a 1st gen Daewoo Matiz, the M150 model that was sold under Chevi’s badge in Europe as the Chevrolet Spark. Then i noticed 3 wheels… it’s wild that 1998 body with 2000s restilyngis still being made.

Another great episode! I especially enjoyed your reaction to the Christmas tree and seeing you fabricate the motor mounts. Blank/printable card stock from an office supply store sounds like what you need for creating templates. Editor Duane did a great job again with the musical choices for this episode. 16:35 Big cutting mistake. Always cut your inside profiles first, else your material moves.

Actually corrected that in all my later cuts, and realized there is a button to make it automatically do that when you trace!

CAD great fabrication tool. Don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but you used a sharpie, hammer, gold old engine oil smeared on the surface works well transferring the hole formations

Cereal boxes or 24 pack beer cardboard works great for CAD. Folds easily, and is easy to cut with scissors.

the normal sharpie is worthless for transferring, The MAGNUM sharpie however is almost as good as transfer paint

Silicone spray works much better at lubricating hoses for install, and doesn't make a mess. You might pick up a can at O'Reilly's next trip. Not sure I wouldn't have just bent some tubing and had some short rubber ends for the U hose. Movement from engine may be an issue. It still bugs me that the dip stick is on the "inside" instead of pointed at the back.

Got a lift table like that. The release cable gets stuck below and keeps the valve open. I have to reset it from time to time.

It almost looks like there's room in the front for 2 wheels and a simple front suspension - wouldn't be a "motorcycle" anymore, but would probably corner better.

That pretty much looks like a 3 wheeled version of a Daewoo Matiz. At least exterior designwise, because the Matiz has 4 wheels and the engine is at the front.

Try using an air hammer with a round head to remove the axle. I fought a Honda cr-v for two days. the sales rep at O'Ryles gave me the tip. took 2 min. LOL

I would be talking to the folks at CFMoto about possible parts. They make some excellent side-by-side utility vehicles this size and just might have some connections to who made this wee car.

the really odd thing is I think I may have driven this car. a shady little car dealer had one back around 2010 and out of curiosity had to look at the obscure car. it had both the clip above the 3rd headlight and the broken license plate lights. be really curious to see where this all has been in its life

Grease works better and wipes back off the flange an 80 year old farmer showed me 25 years ago when I was trying to make some paper case gaskets for a dirt bike I stored on his property also showed me that a 9/16 with a nickel for a spacer will get a 7/16 bolt loose and a penny with it fits a 1/2 bolt old guy always had a banding steel knife on him and a 9/16 wrench when he was out and about tinkering around the farm

I have yet seen someone draw their parts on cardboard and then use the Arcdroid to cut it out. Out of the cardboard that is. 😅

@@mckaylachevalier9877 the engine is a super common chery brand used in a lot of U.S. sold utility vehicles. If you search the engine type you’ll find lots of parts out there, but searching by Snyder you won’t find much at all
