Rebuilt Title WRX: My Worst Car Buying Experience

In today's video, I go over my stressful experience buying a new car for the channel. Today, I present my new to me 2019 WRX. But this one needs some love and comes with a fresh rebuilt title. Something that usually steers other buyers away. But I embrace the R title with the tempting price tag and get the car for the channel. here's to the next build!

Just got the CAN flex kit on Friday. Installed it Saturday, in the middle of tuning now. Easy install. Definitely gonna be worth it after switching maps between fuels for 2 yrs.

Man, Cody, I listened to that whole story and feel for you man. Ugh! I'm SO GLAD you are safe and finally home. Traffic and needing to pee is one of the worst forms of normal life torture I can imagine. Definitely got to get that limo tint so you can pee more comfortably- maybe carry around a Pringles can too, or something easier to work with lol. I would suggest building a super lightweight wrx. No spoiler, as much carbon as possible, etc. fits nicely with black paint. Obviously swap over to the fa2.4 turbo model. Please stick with 17” wheels this time around. Just my 2 cents

I thought about doing a lightweight build but Carbon doesn't strip too much weight from these cars since everything is thin aluminum. This one has to retain itself as a street oriented car for a while but after I get another vehicle then I may do a lightweight track build!

I have a 2019 wrx base model. Just hit 45k miles. I'm about to sell it. Only owner. Never tuned or ran parts that needed a tune. Got a catback exhaust and short throw shifter. Some quotes have me around 18-19k for trade.

Try doin a "balling on a budget" build. I think info/reviews and installation on some of the mid-end/lower-end mods is pretty rare on youtube and would be pretty cool; everyone with a wrx always gets the same stuff, and comes out with almost the same car. Plus, aiming for mid-end priced mods is a good way to keep spending reasonable for each mod. I know your civic stuff didnt get that many view, but it was still pretty cool to see how much you could stretch your budget to make something look pretty nice.

Thanks for the idea. I do like doing budget things anywhere I can. I try to go budget on parts that aren't as critical, like exhaust, lighting, certain exterior mods and things like that!
