Love how this soap turned out and that top looks so much better!! 😉❤️ I write coconut milk either way but technically because it's dried out with maltodextrin we're suppose to put that also. It's a rice powder I believe that's sprayed on screens with the liquid milk to make the powder. That's the same method used for making other powders like Aloe Vera powder and Goat's Milk. 🤷🏼♀️
@MsAubrey8 ай бұрын
It would be WAY less than 2% of the total ingredients, so I don’t believe you would have to add maltodextrin in the ingredients… at least in the US.

It is hard to get Sandlewood EO to stay. I have tried kaolin clay and it does help. But not to my liking. I am in love with Sandlewood. So I am going to try some mixtures. some EO in the mix that might help enhance it more, like the citrus. I just don't want it to fade after a couple months. I bought a book on that. Hope it gives me the answers that will help. Fingers crossed. Powders, when reconstituted ARE not powders anymore. They are now milks and creams. Agree. They now go in the ingredients as milk or creams. HAPPY EASTER you and your family. 🐰🐣 Cheers & Blessings💕

You said you were trying to figure how much oils you need for the mold you are using in this video. I started soaping back in 2005. In 2007 I went to an Ohio Soapers Gathering. A gal there shared a way to calculate the oils needed for a rectangular mold. It has worked well for me if you want to give it a shot. You take the Length x Width x Height (depth of bar) = volume. Volume x .4 = ounces needed. If using additives, clays, etc... use x.39 or .38. Valerie
