I’ve found my dressing! Yesterday was my one month anniversary for starting my whole food plant based diet. (Down 30 pounds!) This whole time I have struggled with the one giant salad each day because I have not found a dressing that I have liked. This is it! Thank you! You guys have been so helpful through this adventure. I appreciate it so much!

Hey Guys. Love ya both. Made this with a few additions of my own. I increased the tahini to 3 Tbsp. Added 2 tsp of miso paste because miso paste makes everything better. Instead of the liquid smoke (I don't have any) I used 1/2 tsp smoked paprika and 1/4 tsp of ground chipotle pepper. If you guys haven't tried ground chipotle pepper you need to get some; it is great stuff. I have lost 10% of my body weight on WFPB since December 1 2019. I am 4.5 lbs from being in at the healthy BMI range. No one I live with or hang out with does this but me so it is great having a online community. Thank you so much for all you do.

Thank you for your delicious salad dressing. I added ketchup, pickle relish, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika and made a 1000 island dressing my NON-vegan husband, mom, and kids love. Again thank you! My husband HATES bean and finds it difficult to enjoy most veggies. I may never win him over to the way I eat completely, but I’m eliminating one processed item at a time, and y’all played a big roll in it today.

I tried a garlic plant based on the cruise ship on the Holiday Holistic cruise n man it was delicious! Can u create a garlicky salad dressing pls?
@sandracarli11104 жыл бұрын
You might like mine! I use it every day. You need 2 TBS sunflower seeds (ground in a coffee grinder - I don't drink coffee so mine is always clean to grind seeds), 1 TBS apple cider vinegar, 2 TBS lemon juice, 2 TBS of water, some salt and 1 little (or big) clove of garlic. Some parsley or other chive if you like. At the beginning the sunflower seeds are kind of grey but the lemon and vinegar 'bleaches' the powder so people think I used yogurt! I hope you will like it!

@@soli4838 I like it tangy. If you like it a bit sweet, you can add 1-2 dates. I forgot about that. ;)
@pda28364 жыл бұрын
Brian's recipe is a classic recipe - the base is the the lemon juice and tahini (or you can use most any seed). Keeping the dates and adding raw garlic will create your garlicky dressing. A shot of dijon mustard will also help. Thin it out with water or even plant milk for a creamy dressing. Good luck!!

Peef is so cute with his little salad!! I’m going to remember to pick up tahini from Trader Joe’s bc the one I bought was chalky and ended up doing nothing for me. Thank you!! I'm going to give it a try along with your hummus. Desperately need to get off of the store bought hummus for my salad dressing. I use Cedars which is much better than Sabra as far as calories and fat content but it still has oil and currently that is the only oil in my life and I want it gone!! Tried Engine 2 and couldn't stand it so hoping your hummus recipe will satisfy my hummus hankering. I've been making a dressing with chickpeas, nooch, roasted red bell peppers and some pickled banana peppers or jalapeno and it is also pretty darn good.

Haha you guys manage to make me laugh within the first 5 secs!!! But I would loooove to see a chocolate hummus recipe, your regular hummus is the best I’ve ever had and I can never manage to make a chocolate one I like but I like certain store bought ones. My favorite vegan dish is either a jalopleno wrapped in fake bacon stuffed with vegan cream cheese, chives and some green onion, seasoning and some vegan cheddar mixed in baked in the oven or I do it with dates. Life-changing.
