You inspired me to make this lifestyle change. I’m down 13 pounds since the end of last month. It’s been a gradual process trying to eliminate salt and sugar (oil was no problem). The best part is that I feel my best, losing weight is just a bonus. 💜

My husband also has to break things down. I love eating out of a bowl, “there’s a taste delight in every bite”. I’m not exactly jumpig right into vegan, but so very close. You’re both so inspiring.

Looks like a great recipe! I will half it though since I’m the only vegan in my household. Jessica, you had me laughing so hard when you were commenting about your life decisions near the end. Brian’s reactions were priceless as well. Jessica “What is wrong with us?” Brian “Absolutely nothing!”He’s right! So happy to see your channel growing, keep up the good work! You are really helping others.

My great uncle had a pumpkin patch. We loved taking home pumpkins in the fall. My friend made "killer" pumpkin soup. She was vegetarian. She roasted a whole garlic globe, carrots pumpkin and a few sweet potatoes. She must have used some sort of bullion and she just blended up the whole bunch of roasted veggies. To this day my mouth waters when I think about it. Great for Thanksgiving too.

Made this a few days ago with my husband. He helped me cook because I just had surgery and this is the easiest soup I've ever made. My husband and my daughter as well as I love it. My husband's co-worker even said it looked very good. I only used 4 bags of veggies and I added red lentils. I had some leftover boiled potatoes in the fridge so in they went .Very good soup 👍 looking forward to trying your other recipes.thank you. You both look great by the way and your skin is glowing 👍

Love you two 😄😄 I love to use gallon freezer bags for putting soup up in the freezer. I put the bag in a shallow pan ( bread loaf ) fill it to where I want ; then freeze it . I have 5 - 6 pans that I've gotten from thrift stores and or garage sales. When frozen I take the bags out of the pans and they stack REALLY nicely in the freezer. I use guart bags too for smaller amounts those will freeze flat in a square pan and you can so more than one at a time too ❤

That looks delicious. I also love to create soups using Orringtons vegan soup base broth that I order online. They have beef, ham which is my favorite, and vegetable and chicken. They are so flavorful creating a depth of flavor although I still add garlic, onion, smoked paprika, basil which I love alot and anything else I have a mind to add in My recent creation was using the ham flavored base, cooking 1 bag dry Lima beans , chopped onion my seasoning array I listed, after the limas cook for several hours unless I use frozen, I add 1 can of chopped tomatoes, frozen corn to my liking, 1 can diced potatoes, 1 can kidney beans, 1 can each cannelloni beans & pinto beans & sliced carrots I love this soup and I eat it all week. I'm an RN & teach a personal care aide class, and after the class had enjoyed the delicious aroma they were wanting a taste, so I brought in enough to share for lunch the next day. One student went home and made some for herself she loved it so much... I'm making another batch tomorrow for myself. It is truly satisfying. I truly love you guys and enjoy your channel.... Thanks for all of the inspiration! From the ❤️Vicki in Virginia 🙏

I've found 1/2 cup of dried beans is approximately equal to the 15 oz can. So happy to have discovered your channel, and looking forward to trying many of your recipes. I'm at least trying to eat meatless 3-4 days a week, aiming for fully meatless as I find enough recipes and learn techniques and swaps. I started a whole foods lifestyle in 2014 and lost 50 lbs. End of 2015 got super stressful at work with 60+ hour weeks and turned to convenience foods. Got 'downsized' and gained it all back.

Hey you guys! I LOVE making big batches of soup in the winter. I am a mail carrier and there is nothing better than a hot thermos of veggie soup when it's snowing outside. I have been WFPB for three years now. I usually make my base from Red Mills Veggie soup Mix and vegetable stock, and I always, always add Brussel sprouts and chili paste amongst a multitude of fresh veggies. I will give your Weird Orange Soup a try for sure! Looks amazing!! Thanks for sharing your journey!!

Love this so much! Ive been living on weird veggie bean soup for a while. Its been a meal prep life saver I dont get tired of. My latest batch i went thanksgivingy with the spices. Thyme and sage and poultry seasoning. I do the corn almond milk, but then for carrot juice i just wash chop and boil 8ish carrots till they are almost soft and put them and the water they cooked in into the blender add extra water a few cloves of garlic half a raw onion and my veggie better than bullion. Its way cheaper. Whiz it up till smooth. Also I like to use a giant bag of stir fry veggies. Throw away the sauce. I love the water chestnuts soak up the broth flavor and never lose their crisp bite through days in the fridge or a freeze and reheat. And the baby corn just makes me smile! If I feel the need to add a starch this is delicious over all of them! Baked sweet potatoes, and or brown and wild rice is especially yummy.
