As a Greek american, I 100% approve. This is a 10 folks. I've had several aveglemono soups...this is my fave. Remember to always temper your eggs into hot broth or else you get scrambled eggs. I used the extra chicken meat for enchiladas! Two meals out of one chicken!

Hey Joel, thanks for the recipe. The music and the video complement it perfectly. In its original form Avjolémono (literally egg-lemon) consists of 2 yolks and 2 whites separated and the juice of 1-2 lemons seasoned with salt which is then added to 500 ml of stock (fish or chicken). The sauce is unique to Greece and is typical of Jiouverlákia, minced meat balls with rice and cooked in it. Your channel is top notch!

@@recipe30 ty my good Aussie friend, actually you are the only site i watch from Australia, & the only feller i communicate with there in the " land down under". btw, Vegamite taste like a concentrated beef base to me, a lot of sodium & i'll eat it on water crackers (a round cracker that has a nuetral taste if you don't have them there) but it is good & for some folks it might have to be an acquired taste, cheers mate !
