I love how natural this presentation is. Not everything is in front of her all ready to go. And she has to go to the fridge to get milk and butter. Very relatable. You can tell this is her own kitchen because she moves about it like a goddess!

Not trying to be funny or a troll but every time I watch her videos she never really use and seasonings nor season her food. I’m sure her food isn’t bland but it looks like it’s flavorless the next day
@Artfanbookfan254 жыл бұрын
I suspect that the food gets seasoned off-camera. She once said that you shouldn't put salt on vegetables when roasting, because it will make the water in them leak out, making them braise instead of roast. I'm not 100% sure if the same happens with meat, but for some reason it's better to season it after cooking. Some of her recipes with bacon don't need a lot of salt due to the bacon itself. She usually seems to "season" with spices instead of salt and pepper, though I suspect that she probably keeps salt and pepper on the table so her guests can season it for themselves if they want to.
@mjrussell4144 жыл бұрын
She salted the lamb and said meat without enough salt is vile.

Cooking a giant piece of pork in long sleeve silk pajamas? Really? The easiest way to turn over a large piece of pork is with a big meat fork and knife. Using oven mitts is wasteful and unsanitary.

Why are the comment sections beneath Nigella’s videos always populated with such whiny bullshiters...? This show is 20 years old. And yes, really, she did cook in payamas and was not as santiary as today’s sanitary fascists would like her to be. And people still love her. Go watch Gordon Ramsey 🤬
