I am working on this because it has caused challenges in my relationship. Thank you, Dr. Cloud.

Mannnn, you are uncovering so much -- I think it is difficult to be self-aware enough to identify these types of hindrances to our own growth. Those passages you referenced, humility, and what you said about finding out the truth, where that wound comes from, and working to resolve it...Thank you Dr. Cloud for sharing your insight and wisdom on this!! It's neat how God answers our prayers and gives us help to change and grow

Thank you for clarifying about an abusive spouse. It really is scary. Also, I realize how I have given him more power than I should have.

I hope that I have not looked down on someone when knowing what I endured for decades 😮

This was extremely helpful. Also, it’s so nice that you recognize that all sins are not the same. Thank you for that. I have never heard anyone recognize that in a lecture or a sermon or presentation. On a sidenote, it took me halfway through your presentation before I realized that the dark pillow on the sofa behind you was not a pillow, but actually your co-host, who looked like they were sleeping on the job😂😊

I am reflective and can apologize about any presuppouses.

I really sat up and took notice when you talked about thinking other people had too much power when in reality, it could be that we don’t own our own power. I rewinded that and listened to that segment a few times.

Is thinking someone is "bad" and scared of them justifies an excuse to be deceiving and abuse them? No.
