🌸 the only advice I can give is don’t reject yourself Take time for yourself, take time to heal, don’t be hard on yourself. Don’t forget to spend time with friends and family, if it’s a loving environment you will heal faster. Just remember you don’t like everyone either, you may not be that person cup of tea but you will find yourself first, and later you will find someone.

What I dont see many people talking about is how this wound shows up in adults current life. One of the ways it keeps showing up in my life is recurring rejections from jobs. Its quite debiltating for an adult.

Still believe in love, I just don't believe in him anymore... there are rare times I still see us getting married, but I'm so overcome with doubt and struggling to forgive his dragging his past into our thing... I will forgive him, but it's so tiring to not feel like I'm marriage material (and it doesn't help that my family doesn't support the idea of me getting married)
