I just received my Bullseye this weekend. I'll assemble it this evening. Great video!

After watching this video , I purchased a RT-B380 / Bullseye. Great unit and after smoking a few times, I bought one for my son. I also bought grill Grates and it works great for steaks and hamburgers, Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the unboxing and assembly. Really like the follow up on the issues you ran into. I love my RT 700 and have heard great things about the bullseye. Looking forward to your cooks on this bad boy

Thanks for watching. I waited a long time for this grill. I think they still have some kinks to workout on this one. I have about 5-6 videos already filmed on this grill. I can honestly say that Recteq customer service must be the best in the world. They answer the phone and are very helpful. I’m just sharing my experience with the grill. Figured if it can happen to me it can happen to someone else.

Just got my Bullseye and your video will be extremely helpful in the assembly today. I noticed your lid hinge is assembled incorrectly (off set on one side) which is why your lid may not be evenly spaced, as you pointed out on the video. Thanks for your excellent and helpful videos!

Thank you. Good luck with yours and have fun. I would say when in doubt use a drip pan. Enjoy your new toy.

Looks like an interesting little grill, I’ve seen a couple of people use it. Glad their customer service seems on the ball, definitely a big thing when dealing with issues or questions. Have a great weekend Scott!

Thanks. It does look pretty. Don’t think I’ll be able to keep it this way.

Very cool installation. Glad you figured out what you need to do for screw that was not fitting in correctly on one side. That's kind of weird for them to send you instructions telling you that it's a 20 20 lb but then you get a 15. But it looks pretty cool can't wait to see it in action.

I agree. Kind of odd. In my opinion they have some kinks to iron out.

Man that’s a kick ass grill! Kinda weird about the lid though!! I always expect to have a few hiccups when putting together anything new, but that lid gap and screw hole would be frustrating to me. I can’t wait to see how this thing performs!! I know you will do it justice!! 💯🔥🔥🔥

I just got minds wat you do for the drip pan
@DrTasteGoodBBQ Жыл бұрын
Any aluminum pan will do the trick. Good luck with it.
@countwalker9362 Жыл бұрын
Did you ever get another one
@DrTasteGoodBBQ Жыл бұрын
I didn’t. Maybe one day. Drip pan use is huge. The old directions never mentioned using one. I like the concept, but there needs to be some grease drainage.

What's the diameter on the grill grate? I have a weber 21.5" with craycort cast iron grates. I want to get this and am wondering if it would fit well.
@DrTasteGoodBBQ3 жыл бұрын
Not knowing. Didn’t test that out prior to me returning it. I would recommend contacting Recteq for that info.

Thanks it is. It takes a long time and pellets to get warmed up. That’s why I thought this would be a nice weeknight grill for me. Sorry this one didn’t work out.

I got this from Michael Stanley from Recteq 35”x25”x22” 70lbs. You can chat them on the website for verification. I just typed in human to get a real person.
