@callmeshaggy516610 ай бұрын
Given the two seasons that followed, how it got to this point has been made pretty irrelevant. It only sped up the inevitable. Lewis might just have to settle for being tied with Schumacher. Going to Ferrari to live out a dream is evidence of he's accepting that. Ferrari may have a competitive car then, but as long as there are Red Bulls that never break down and one of them is driven by Max, there's no hope. He's only going to keep getting better as he piles on the laps and Red Bull don't usually take steps backwards with their cars.

That struck me as well. I know that the term "son" towards someone not really your son is a reasonable common thing in Britain but think of this, Max came to RB in a very real seat at the age of 17. Not some training or junior program, he had to prove from day 1 in the RB seat that he is worthy of the time and investment.These RB guys have seen a world class talent come in at teenage years and took a journey with Max to adulthood and in the (for now) end a world championship. Listen to how Adrian Newey describes Max, like he is talking about his own son. Add this this Helmut Marko and Christian Horner and I honestly believe he has a couple of surrogate dads in the team and they consider him more than just a teammate, he is family...

My favorite to rewatch is Max's cam right before the restart and the statement comes across the radio "This is it." Just give me chills and it looks like they are both going so slow they almost stall. Crazy good moment I'll never forget. Unbelievable race and year. Great job RBR fan for life.

That’s what I love about Max-he’ll go for a move if the gap is there, he’s insanely good at overtaking moves

Red Bull gives you wings. They are all flying high. Well done Max, Red Bull & Honda. Honda really did do everything they could in their last year in F1 to win.

These guys and girls are hero's. Me, and most people here, are fans. After the race i drink a beer (or 2, 3 .....) and go to sleep. But these hero's are away from home for months traveling the world and giving 100% for the team, and they reached there goal. They must be honored. This video shows it all. Looking forward to 2022

Checo out the partner that Max Verstappen needed to be able to shine. Someone whose ego won't beat. They asked Pérez to boost the Dutchman and he did. congratulations Max ...

Really happy with this season, it was amazing to see two great drivers and two great teams give everything they can. I´m not a fanboy of either, but nobody can denny the amazing skill Max shows, he reminds me of Senna, because Max is a true racing driver, he always goes for the gap. And congrats to Redbull, next year is going to be an amazing figth, with Russell at Mercedes it is going to be interesting, and obviously Perez is the man, his defense was astonishing.

I really hope we're going to see some good fights between George, Max, and Lewis. Why not throw Charles in there as well in case Ferrari get their shit together.

Max has magic powers. Remember his first win in F1 in Barcelona, I knew this guy is special. He was also racing like a rain God in Brasil in 2016. He single handed saved the boring F1 from extinction and made it into fireworks. Toto can't stop him, nobody can.

Congratulations🎉 Unfortunately, the Japanese GP was cancelled this year, so i was not able to see Max's brave figure in person😢. Next year, Honda will be nominally gone and I will miss them, but I will definitely visit Suzuka! Of course I'll be rooting for Perez, Gasly and Tsunoda too!
@countmorbid31873 жыл бұрын
Honda is not really gone. It's in their interest to make sure the transition is flawless and will help with possible problems in the future. The bond will only be broken in name.

Waited for something like this to happen since 2008, came home from a gig all tired and sleepy, almost lost hope until the safety car period. Was on my knees and begging to get a head to head fight. It happened and Max just lit the whole thing. Awesome job by RBR, Max and Checo the legend.

i can't watch without tears. Emotions emerge from me that I cannot describe. I’ve been watching F1 since 1997, I loved Schumacher, cheered for Alonso against Vettel, cheered for Vettel against Hamilton. but this last round was a satisfaction for all the disappointments of the last 11 years. 😈 Thank you MAX!!!!
