I have always played on standard settings, I played last night for an hour and changed them to FPS2. It seems pretty smooth, especially in first person. But yeah, you have to get used to them.

personally my first person control type is alternate fps which swaps triggers to bumpers, im more comfortable using the bumpers as aiming and shooting since they're more tactile and responsive, it also switches sprint to L3 or LS (i think thats left stick for xbox) so you only press it once and youre going full sprint. bonus it makes crouch X or A so you can t-bag really quick lol.

I recommend playing around with sensitivity on moonshiner hardest difficulty missions(No autoaim there and targets move). Just got back to the game gonna try FPS2 setting.

I dont know if you know this or not but the naturalist update introduced the option to switch to free aim and when you switch servers you automatically get paired up with other free aim players it says in the settings

It says in the settings but in reality it doesn't really do what it says. You can change your settings to free aim. You will still be in the same session and paired up with lock on players.

First of all thank you for sticking with us all for another week and another quality update....however I want to bring to the attention of all a major serious issue which every one is missing, let me elaborate. Despite the clear facts we all know about lack of love from Rockstar with RDO, we know they are watching what’s going on, this was recently shown when they had the blackout day a few weeks ago in support of the black lives matter situation. What everyone has missed is that Rockstar are sexiest with this game, I would like to know why they allow Cowgirls access to all the male clothing, but males can’t have the female clothing! Does any else feel strongly about this, does anyone else want the ability to feel carefree after a hard day hunting and making shine, fighting bandits and running missions that they could if they wanted to just pop on a smashing blouse and flowing skirt, or if more daring sport a dazzling corset, while riding care free across the Heartlands.....Rockstar, shame on you........

The water tip is the best tip of all. Specially on long hours of gaming, I tend to drink a lot of coffee and monster to keep me awake so I tend to forget my health and just drink water. F gamers today or even kids growing up to be gamers want to pro long their peak performance or even their health in total, these kind of healthy gaming tips is what we need. Also f u have eye strain u can try getting Gunnar glasses or gaming glasses to reduce strain. A proper chair is also recommended either gaming chair or those expensive spinal cord thingy

Hey John, the way you use your index finger for sprinting really looks awkward. I get you change the controller settings. What you also can do is change the speed the camera follows you (to a minimum, one tick before off). Then there’s much less need for using the right stick so much and you can still use the thumb for sprinting. Btw: Why use wide setting for auto aim, if you play free aim? Did you really abandon ship? 😉

12 hours plus some days due to lock down, normally grinding on collector, bounties and a bit if hunting if theres any animals, when posses are active lots of clowning around doing 2 wheel buggy, bounty wagon races, due to no update you do need to make your own fun🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Hanging out with friends doing dailys, collecting collectables, playing on steam boats, fishing, ride my horse up mountains and sliding down some of them on my horse, race around the map on those small two wheeled wagons from Saint Denis, avoid griefers on horse as they try to chase me on foot or on horse. They really suck on horse. Watching them crash into a tree or rock or log or npc is funny. I mainly enjoy hanging out with friends to bounty hunt or do something crazy.

Standard fps2 is too annoying to use. Only good part I like is speeding up with a horse and shooting at the same time being easier but that's it. Only the ground I feel more inept. I never clawed like that anyway like you showed.
