Honestly, as a 5-year player of pure Red-Eyes, what they need to become really good is something like this: Red-Eyes Raider Dragon LV7/DARK/Dragon ATK 2000 DEF 2400 This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in the GY. If this card is sent to the GY; you can Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower "Red-Eyes" monster from your Deck, but for the rest of this turn you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck, except DARK Dragon monsters. You can only use this effect of "Red-Eyes Raider Dragon" once per turn. You can banish this card and 1 other "Red-Eyes" card from your GY; add 1 "Red-Eyes" card, or 1 Spell/Trap that lists a "Red-Eyes" monster in its text, from your Deck to your hand.

That would make Red Eyes OTK first turn easier with Meteor Black Comet Dragon summoned with effect of Red Eyes Fusion send Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to graveyard to inflict 1400 burn damage then activate 1 or 2 Inferno Fire Blast or 1 Serial Spell card to inflict 7000 burn damage for 8400 LifePoint burn damage = win the duel that's game *gg*

That'd be a pretty strong card, but then again Red-Eyes needs something as good as that to be able to bring out it's stronger monsters.

@@actuallystoked Dragun Of Red Eyes is the king that leads the way, I usually get out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss along with Dragun, then next turn Borrelload Savage Dragon equipped with a Saryuia Skull Dread for a 4.200ATK beater and with all 3 of these extra deck boss monsters on my field I can say completely no to any card effect my opponent does 3 times in a row! I win the duel 95% of the time with that board of all 3 with only 2 of those 3 I win the duel 75% of the time.

Facts about Gearfried! the main problem with red-eyes decks is the ability to normal so having 2 or 3 gearfried's is great plus his effect. nice profile

Another alternative to either meteor impact or lightpulsar is the LV6 Gemini Chthonian Emperor Dragon, especially since if you bring it back with Return of the Red-Eyes you can normal summon it to basically have a Red-Eyes Black Dragon that can attack twice per turn.

a better one would be Seleglare since it can be normal summoned without a tribute, it can steal a monster on the opponent's turn, while bouncing itself back in hand, ready to be used again. Some people don't even know this card exists ahaha

This deck desperately needs striker dragon. You don't even have to play a rokket package. Playing striker dragon allows you to, at MINIMUM, turn a single black metal dragon into dragoon with fang with chain, with Darkness Metal and Wyvern in grave. It's basically free. Summon Black Metal, link into striker, search Darkness Metal, Banish striker for Darkness Metal, Revive Black Metal, link into Verte, search insight, Send wyvern for cost with insight, get fang with chain, then summon Dragoon with Verte. That's just with one card. Start adding noctovision and other extenders and things can get out of hand.

question, why do so many people run multiple limit 1 cards? I thought you could only have 1 at a time?

In the tcg you can play as many limited to 1 or 2 cards as you want, but in duel links it works as you said

add in lightning, dragon ruler of drafts and tempest, dragon ruler of storms, then give yourself the black stone of legend, lightning, dragon ruler of drafts, and red-eyes b. dragon or flare dragon. if no interruptions are played you can end the combo on red-eyes flare metal dragon and another rank 7 xyz

If you want to combo it with black metal and fang the red eyes is better, buster blader is good but even the og gearfried can be good

My Red Eyes Rokket Guardragon deck is a solid A- Tier 1 deck it can beat alot of other A- Tier 1 decks and B+ Tier 2 decks both Meta and Rogue, It even wins against A+ Tier 1 decks with perfect hand and comes to life with drawing epic combos. You have no idea of the true potential Red Eyes has if you think and say they can't be competitive

They can't be competitive, its not a thing that YOU can choose, if the archetype is bad and has poor sinergy plus needs non archetype cards to be relevant it is not good.

@@Porkchop-z3g Lol I get out a board of either both Red Eyes Dark Dragoon and Borrelload Savage Dragon with him or Void Ogre Dragon with him first turn and win the duel 80% of the time with that field. Second turn I could have a field of Red Eyes Dark Dragoon, A Savage or Void and a Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss all 3 on my field for 3 negate any card effect negations in a row. Yeah this is one of the most broken Yu-Gi-Oh Dragon decks in history Red Eyes Rokket, they mix and Synergize beautiful together Rokket's and Red Eyes, The Guardragon Links where not a huge necessity but they did give it a little extra kick. I would definitely say this deck is up there with Meta Blue Eyes, Meta Galaxy eyes, Meta Odd Eyes and Dragunity.

I personally don’t play red eyes fusion cause the drawback is so bad. I prefer to use dragon mirror since the only fusion I play is the slash dragon. Also I think the best level 6 dragon would be Seleglare since you can normal summon it without tribute and it can steal a monster during the opponent turn

It's worth the high reward. The random situational Ash Blossom Of Joyous Springs hand trap monster card is the only common counter negate card to stop it
