bro, i'm not a watch guy i'm mainly here to watch political bullshit and tech stuff. YOUR channel has become my favorite on youtube and has sparked a passion for watches and for a low tier restoration attempt. i like the casual flex of new equipment and laugh with the subtle comedy bits(the socks the filming of every movement). it's just great watching this. you defenetly have one of the best channels on youtube not just for watches but as a whole.

Felicito Tu trabajo y esmero. PD. Me gustan los Seiko!!!! Gracias 👌

Thanks for the great video. I have a similar watch with the white dial that I got from my dad that passed away 3 years ago and I need to restore it , is there a way that I can send it to you to be restored ? Thank you.

I wonder how many people realise what goes into making a video like this ? The number of camera shots from different angles and views of each and every step of the process is incredible and stitching them all together flawlessly to tell the story in a meaningful and interesting way takes incredible care and planning ! Most people have no idea of the amount of work involved with this and especially with lighting and even the sound levels, I'm pretty sure they would be astounded to see what goes into making a video like this ! You make it all appear to be a trivial task because we can concentrate on the work in hand, the quality of the video goes unnoticed by most ! Nice work ! 👍

This exact model was my first 'good' watch, still in my possession. The flat watch glass is a little scuffed at the edges, but I wouldn't replace it with a domed glass as this would alter the character too much for me personally. I had a tough job at the time, and I can still remember the pleasure I got from seeing that red SUN appear each week. One less week to go ... Thank you for stirring the memory pot. Regards

Loved it! My only comment is that I think that this is the first time that the replacement dial has looked like a downgrade to me -- the text on it is not crisp at all.
@elpasadordeoroАй бұрын
i think it s an aftermarket dial or a reprint, than I am agree with you, sometimes is better to have a faded dial than a non original one/a reprint one. But people often dont like watches with discolored dials/hands/tachometer scales, making it harder to sell a piece, However, it is enough to keep the original dial
@MonkEsquire9 күн бұрын
Yeah the replacement dial really detracts from the whole restoration. 21:33 when it swaps between the old/new you can see how bad it is. The text is blown out and not crisp at all, the hour markers are badly painted and the lume on the 5 o'clock position looks like it just fell on instead of being applied.
