Thank you for taking the time to do another video. The map does look interesting and i would love to have a go at putting my spin on it, having watched your for ages. Do you happen to have the original save you could share, along with your mods. That would be excellent. Keep em coming.

Unfortunately I do not have the original map saved anywhere, I do feel bad about that. But I think what I might do is once this series is finished, I will try to recreate it as best I can by modifying the final version of the map and then I will also have a list of all the mods that were used so I can the share it all at the same time.

Could you try making your own "altstadts" kinda like the place where the city started with an old curch or so, theres good examples in germany like heidelberg or hamburg

Thanks for this suggestion! I'll look into it but I'll have to find some assets and do a little bit of research since I am not too familiar with it. I like the Idea though

Are you going to upload in total 100 videos of this series
@ultimatearchitect5 ай бұрын
I might end up around there. I think the goal is to finish making the cargo connections needed to have every city connected to every resource, improve or revise any really bad passenger connections, then make the map look really nice. So I think it is on track to end around 100 but it might not be exactly that many.

01. Your grain train rate is insufficient. You acknowledge that, but don't fix it. Why? 02. Train station at Albuquerque isn't connected to much, only at the top end of the platform. Fix this to massively increase coverage. Check all other stations. 03. Ensure all city bus routes stop at the train station, no exceptions. 04. If that passenger train servicing Albuquerque is not sufficient, adjust the train. 05. All bus loops should have two directions, no exceptions. You're forcing people to go the wrong way. A lot of stuff done, but nothing is done yet.

I'll take a look at that train rate, I think I wanted to add the track bypassing the station first since that would alter the rate anyway and I must have forgot to come back to it. There is still a lot of work to do in Albuquerque, I might move the train station closer to the center of the city in the area that was redesigned since it is already empty. All of the bus stuff is becoming a pretty daunting task now that the cities are so big they require 4-8 lines each for busses to work and I'm not too familiar with the best bus practices in this game. Thanks for pointing all of this out, it is very much appreciated!

Just keep them coming! Despite some of the stuff contradicting what I would do, your videos offer some of the best watching experience I have experienced lately. They are, actually, the only TF2 videos I watch. Speaking of [potentially] moving the Albuquerque station - there are some stunning mods available for elevated stations. I think building one of those right in the centre of the town would offer some variety to the standard station appearance, and would also allow for elevated track to not interfere with the city much.

Well thanks for the continued support and critiques on these videos! Unfortunately I have already recorded a video moving the train station before I saw this but elevated stations would be a perfect fit in a case like this. I have seen a few that I liked but I never downloaded them because I never thought I would use them. But I'll look for them and hopefully get them in soon.
