I actually live in Gleason, someone found the metal skeleton of the giant spider prop and put it in a weed choked lawn next to the bank, they thought that would bring in tourist... sat there for like 2 years then someone either stole it or was so ashamed they quietly moved it back to whatever dump they dragged it out of. Also Bill Rebane's grandson gave me a copy of this to borrow back in the 90's and immediately moved away, so now I just have it I guess.

Because mike asked: Monster truck rallies at the time of Twister's Revenge were largely a spectator sport. At the highest level there was Bigfoot, USA-1, Grave Digger, and maybe a dozen others competing for prize money to packed stadiums and arenas in televised events. For the most part it was more of an exhibition type of thing at rodeos and fairs, often for prize money but it was a side job or hobby for most of the competitors. Being successful at any level was as much about keeping your truck from catastrophically breaking as it was driving skill. Ostensibly with movie logic, an AI could pilot the truck at peak performance without taking it beyond it's mechanical limits. It's still really stupid though and makes no sense cuz theres a bajillion better things to do with such an sophisticated AI. Around 86, Bigfoot, the most dominant and elite monster truck in the nation was comprised of around a 500,000 in parts with most of it's primary opponents ranging about the same. Based on it's an appearance and the level it's competing at, Twister would be probably be worth the better part of 200k without any "computer parts" Also yes you can legally own a tank that can move. Jump through enough ATF hoops and you can legally own a tank with a working turret as well. You just can't own munitions for it (I believe) unless they are solid cast slugs rather than any actual payload ever used by a military or your own homemade explosives. psynque I think Jay stopped doing the streams because people were recording them. There was a lot of exclusive patreon content and a cut of Feeding Frenzy that was streamed. I remember after the 2014 stream someone had recorded it and posted it to the subreddit and Jay asked them to take it down. Maybe the recording is floating around somewhere but I think they removed it out of respect for Jay.

That's really interesting, I wondered why they stopped.

I was just on the edge of my seat when they kept showing "Bill Rebane"'s name by Rich's head, waiting to hear how he was going to mess it up. Not disappointed.

BEST set-up for a gag in this. I checked the description to see the filmmaker's name, and NOT A FULL SECOND LATER they come in with the punchline. Masterful.

Hi, in case some of you reads this, i'd like to recommend 4 of my favorites "B" movies ever: Cannibal Apocalypse (1980) The Last Hunter (1980) Combat Shock (1986) and the glorious holy grail of intentionally "bad" movies Street Trash (1987) all VietNam War related in case you wanna tie them in a topic - Cheers from a new fan from Buenos Aires.

28:20 Tanks are actually perfectly legal to own, you just need a permit, and to have all weapons on the tank (like the main cannon) disabled. There's even websites that sell them, like MortarInvestments. The main reason it's really rare for civilians to own tanks is just because they are expensive, require an enormous amount of maintenance to keep running, and are often difficult to drive without an actual crew. Also many tanks can't be legally driven on streets due to the damage they cause to the road, and so you also need specialized rubber treads to make them road-safe.

So in all of RLM’s reviewed films, is this the first instance of consensual marital relations that doesn’t end in the wife being killed? Mad refreshing.
@sideways51532 жыл бұрын
Actually that’s definitely worth commenting on. It’s like the slimier version of the Bechdel test: Is there a woman in the movie/video who is not put through a disgusting sex scene, is only in fully consenting relations, and does not die?
