Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.

Drove an EP3 years ago and never forgot that experience, i currently own an old FN2 which i picked up quite cheap, i know it got alot of bad press back in the day but i love it, and the NA k20 is a masterpiece of engineering, i'm 53 and it does make me feel young again especially when VTECH kicks in YO.😛

FN2 is ageing well by the sounds of it. We’ll be getting one on the channel soon! Glad you’re enjoying it!
@jeremiemekerke5637Ай бұрын
Its all about that K20! Both the EP3 and the FN2 share 100% of the same engine. The only differences is overal weight and the EP3 had rear (hybrid) double wishbone suspension. It wasn't fully independent wishbones suspension like the integra but they made some more compact hybrid version for the EP3. So overal the bad press was just for the new model beign more heavy and downgraded suspension. Overal still a great car but coming for decades of improvements to having a downgrade on a new model is bad press. But overal now we know that every single new car is a downgrade to the original classics. As a kid I remember the 2007 crisis and I'll always blame it on that and this crisis forcing major corporations to just save money. Now all the new civic type R's after the FN2 don't have the real VTEC anymore on both cams, no even beign able to reach 8K rpm. They are great cars for sure but building engines cheaper to save costs and put a turbo on it to make power and call it a day isn't improvement

There not as bad as the press made out, similar DNA and an absolute bargain today, if I had the room in the garage there would be 1 sat next to the Ep3 for sure

Had my ep 3 for 10 years, got the div and breathing mods, 250 hp, an absolute animal and so much fun. Has been my daily from day 1 and has been a hoot every time I drive it. The red line well past 8k is something you don't get in any other non-honda hot hatch. The gearbox was made specifically for the engine too, rather than something from the parts bin, so smooth. Truly love it.

You got it spot on there, I Bought one 8 years ago off a friend in work, still got it in the garage, what a fun factor car, my daily drive is a golf R 7,5 but I smile more when I'm thrashing the nuts off that k20 once a year when it goes for its mot

I love the EP3, after driving a Sport model for 12 years I got me a CTR and i've been a lunatic for 3 years now. Car literally made me buy a 2nd car to use as a daily last year and learn to relax again. The old lady CTR can retire in my garage with under 100K on the clock ♥ That thing is mint af exactly like this vid, never slept outside. Video's can't give enough credit to the real thing

Always wanted the EP3 but sadly is a little inferior vs the JDM version lacking in power and LSD. Which was made and built in the U.K. funnily enough.
