If you have free space and a 20 amp dual breaker on your barn panel (or your basement panel), you can just put this asic on its own circuit. No need for the PDU, just get the same type of outlet (female) as the power cable that came with the M32 (looks like you need an old NEMA 10-20R) and wire the circuit with the proper gauge cable (N° 12 AWG). Depending on how much the electrician charges you, it can be cheaper than a new PDU. Most PDUs have o lot of outlets and you won't use them because with one or two of these miners you will surpase their capacity. It´s a waste of space IMO. Have a nice day...
@thomyanderson56223 жыл бұрын
Hey man love the videos and plz keep them up. I've been doing commercial/industrial electrical for a bit now. Something I would recommend to you is lower your 80% to 75% load rule on your electrical. 80% is for standard use residential and commercial circuits. If you're loading (meaning pulling power aka watts) the circuit 24/7 things will get hot and fail faster. This applies to your breakers, plugs, power conditioners or any such things you have to distribute power to your equipment. Sometimes in electrical a breaker can fail and not trip or just constantly trip and reset just because you're over using it or do not have the correct breaker type installed. I'm glad you recommend electricians because this mining craze reminds of California and early marijuana growers burning down buildings with 50 extensions cords and maxxing every circuit to 100%

That ~$20/day doesn't account for electric though. On 3000+ watts that will be a big hit into your profits unless you're getting super cheap electric. Yeah like RP says I can't see this or really any asics nowadays for individual/residential use. Sad because that was a big part of the whole idea behind btc.. but it's becoming more and more centralized and out of reach to individuals.

Seriously running a 220 outlet is very simple It's literally one more wire. All you need is a double pole breaker and one more wire. So it's 2 hot and a neutral. And boom you have a 220 outlet. So two black wires one white wire. In fact you could use two two different 110 plugins. Run an extension cord out of each. Twist the white wires together attach to the neutral lead of the outlet And attach the black to your two hot leads of the outlet. Close up the junction box on the end of the two chords and you now have a 220 outlet you can plug into two separate 110 ordinary household outlets. And you don't even have to mess with anything in the breaker box. And you can unplug it at any time. You now heavy 220 outlet run from two separate 110 outlets very simple.

When you shift this much power you can get big discounts on electricity.

Compare to GPU , it use a lot of power to get the same amount of fiat profit. 2 x rtx3080 just use 600watt and get 20usd daily.

How are you mining Bitcoin directly with your PC? My guess is you aren't, you're mining something else and getting paid out in Bitcoin on Nicehash or something similar. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm curious.
@wingracer16143 жыл бұрын
@@Lethargy01 Exactly that way but that's the point. You can make just as much on a fraction of the power and costs with GPU mining right now.

@@Lethargy01 it's a pool, but none the less my power off the wall is under 330watts and I'm making 15usd a day. Why would anyone use an asic miner if they pull more wattage than they make? My question here is how do those make money?

Stick with Eth and BTC as much as you can guys. If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream may be lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind. just remember where it's going and don't be put off by short term fluctuations and don't facilitate this dream into becoming a nightmare .The coin-base thing will undoubtedly be replaced by another incident but it will always correct to higher until it's mooned naturally. Don't give up on it and start day trading it, it will take too much time and concentration. Remember Eth is probably bitcoin part 2. It is quite unfortunate that the most popular word lately amongst crypto enthusiasts and traders alike is “hodl.” This concept of “holding on for dear life” in itself may not be a bad idea but why hold on to an investment instrument which could make you some money, or make you very miserable tomorrow? Making a good profit off crypto is easy if and only if you can find the right entry point and exit point in your day trading. Someone I discovered that has tremendously helped me with this is R_e_a_l_s_o_u_r_c_e_i_n_v_e_s_t_m_e_n_t_O_r_g. He has a system which is so effective it amazes me. I have been using his signals and strategies and have turned out a very impressive profit over the last two months. I would suggest him for beginners and even more experienced traders who have a problem turning in a consistent profit. He can be contacted via website realsourceinvestmentorg , and please when you reach him tell him he was a blessing to my life and my family.
