Honestly if you finish at series 3, with a little creative scene skipping, you have a perfect HBO production. The red wedding was a good cut off point. Still it's worth a watch. Stannis is my one true king

Sir Davos’s was such an underrated character that really took off after Stannis died. He was one of the best characters on the show once he paired with Jon. Tormand as well, he was so funny with so many one liners 😂. Podrick stood on business this season. 😂

It's hard to notice when you first watch, but on further watches you'll notice a massive snow drift leaning up against the castle wall which is probably what Sansa and Theon jumped into.

i gotta play this episode to see it. i always wondered what the hell they jumped into. i thought at first maybe a carriage or a large hay wagon, or a moat. gotta see if it was a snow pile.

It was a deep snow. It has dumped a lot of snow when Stannis and his men were camped out before making it to Winterfell. It had snowed so much Stannis and his army could not move/march. So it was the same at Winterfell. Plus, snow will pile up against the walls of the castle created large snow drifts. So if you get like 3-6ft of snow...a snow drift might pile up to 10ft or more high. So when Theon and Sansa jumped off the wall, they were jumping into a large snow drift most likely. The books are different when it comes to this story line.

Like others have mentioned, there was a snow drift for them to jump into. When I was a kid, we would get 4-5 ft. drifts up against our house, and me and my siblings would go up on the roof and jump into them all the time. I always look forward to watching your reactions for GOT. I have watched this series probably 30 time now lol, and it's fun to see you guys have the same reactions. I know you guys do a lot, but once you get through the series, in your down time, you should really watch it again. You will connect so many more dots and catch things that you don't the first time watching it. Every time I watch it, I always find something that I can't believe that I didn't catch that before. There are just so many little details to this show, which is one of many reasons that this is my all-time favorite series.

I just love rewatching my favorite shows with Asia and BJ! Y'all are so much fun to watch with, too bad we can't pop some popcorn, make a charcuterie board and watch in person! My favorite character is Tirion. I have read the first 3 books of the original 5 book series so far and they are good, but I have to say that I much prefer the screenwriters version on HBO. Even tho the show is wayyyyy more explicit in EVERY way, it is still more exciting than the books. But my hat is off to GRRM for creating such an expensive fantasy world and such vivid characters. Love me some GOT! ❤️

What I love about Tyrion in this episode is that he became the breaker of chains. He knew Danerys' mistakes in handling Mareen was in her dragons. How can she free a city when she imprisoned what she loves most?

That was Ghost at the very start,griefing over Jon. I always loved Ghost soo much in this series! Most beautiful wolf of them all,and as i think Ned Stark said,the most special one for Jon. Wich almost made me teary eyed early on in the series,as it was just a beautiful thing to say,or maybe it was one of his brothers or sisters. That part is right now a blurr,but i defintly remember them being together in the woods,and they got to keep the wolf pups they found. Brienne has grown soo much on me,and when she came to Sansa and Theons rescue,last second,i was over the moon! Theon even came around and saved Podrick....that made me look at him in a better light.......finally. BJ "I gotta see this! ...... because i have never really seen Tyrion run before." Told you to: Hang in there! That was all i could say without spoiling anything,but Jon coming back with a gasp was the highlight of that episode! 42:33 Asia remembers!! The moment Drogo died, he was no longer Khal (king) which means Daenerys is no longer a Khalessi of their particular tribe. Similar to Native Americans & indigenous people of other countries, there are numerous different tribes of Dothraki people, each with their own Khal. So that is why most of them don't know or recognize Daenerys. Plus she is not wearing their traditional clothes like she did in season 1 when she was a Khaleesi. Because she is now Drogo's widow, their law states that she must live out her days in Vaes Dothrak (the capital city) with all the other former Khaleesi's, not the actual dead Khals. As for The Red Woman, Melisandre - she is several hundreds of years old. Some say she is about 200 while others believe she might be around 400 yrs old. She is at least 100+ in the show. Her ruby necklace is actually enchanted - it gives her long life and hides her identity as an old woman, giving her the power & beauty of youth, which is called "the glamour."

😂😂 I knew ya wouldn't be able to wait long to get back to it. See the difference between yall and the rest of us that watched it from the beginning. Yes, we had an entire year we to suffer through to get to this point plus an entire 2 episodes before we finally see him wake up. But for that entire year that we waited, we had all kinds of theories of what could or couldn't happen. So, like there was this whole added level of anticipation. Or trepidation or something like that building up to it. I rewound the part where he woke up like ten times and rewatched it over and over again from the moment that Ghost picked his head up to the moment that jon snow took that breath.

The Red Woman, Lady Melisandre is several hundred years old. This is why she is so cool and relaxed cause she has seen everything... One very nice detail about her latest events is that when she got back to the Wall in season 5 finale she was feeling the cold. Lord of Light usually keeps her warm under any conditions, but not then and there. Interesting little detail that is so very easy to miss. Rubies are used by magician's in the world of GoT to glamour things, like Melisandre with her looks.

That's him. Max Von Siddow. Believe it or not, he was only 45 years old when he played the Exorcist. He is 100 years old here give or take a few years. When the entire WALL, Wildings, White walkers, (lot's of W's) and Night's Watch were based around Jon Snow, any sane person would've known they were trolling us with the "if you see them die" trope. They spent too much time surrounding Snow's character with stuff they couldn't walk away from or give to someone else - they were all there for Jon. It never felt like Jon was dead, but more of - 'how do we get by this'? Answer given, story continues . . . .

Season 6 is when Tyrion stops being the smartest character to the slowest. Chracters start getting plot armor. Season 1 through 5 no character was safe. 6 - 8 none of the main characters ever feel in real danger.

It has not been 5 or 6 days. Jon was killed at night and his body found, and Ed left to get the wildlings, and got back some time the next day, this is later that night, or at very least, the next night.😊

Notice how for the plot to happen now it requires a series of inexplicable and very improbable coincidences to occur. People miraculously ride into the scene from nowhere right at the last moment to save the day, The two right people found a small ring in a gigantic meadow where thousands of the wrong people hadn't noticed it at all and none of the horses stood on it and pushed it into the ground. This type of nonsense stems from the fact that the series was now beyond the books written by G. R. R. Martin and was now being made up as they went along by Benioff and Weiss. This results in entire armies being able to hide behind a hill with no one suspecting they are there and then wait until hundreds of people have needlessly died before saving the day. People do things which are utterly against their character and at odds with everything they have done in the past.
