WHO AM I
Hi!
I'm Cléo Martins, creator and CEO of Gourmet da Horta. I am a Chef, writer and speaker in Conscious Eating.
My trajectory started in Portugal, where I participated in courses on international vegetarian cuisine, macrobiotics, oenology, olive oil tasting, aromatic plants and medicinal herbs, among others. Still in Portugal, I won two cooking contests, both in Lisbon.
In Turkey I participated in a healthy eating workshop typical of that country and in France I studied fresh pastry at Le Cordon Bleu.
I ended my training in the United States with the training of Chef in Raw Food (live food).
I ended the training, but my studies will never end because I love to study, especially topics related to quality of life 😊
In my work I pay tribute to vegetables and plant based food, giving lectures to companies and practical workshops on natural food and raw food for all ages, including the little ones from 4 years old.
As a writer I have three published books, one about recipes, one for children and one of general interest.
For me it is essential that healthy food is tasty. If food is part of our emotional base, we must think of a way to please the palate, body and mind without any imbalance.
