Could you elaborate more on how the inflammation of the nerve causes pain and how the inflammation occurs?

Has anyone ever suffered this for years? Like consistently for 4+ years? Still able to lift weights etc but there is a constant feeling of "discomfort" and slight weakness in the arm?
@ABPK3 ай бұрын
I'm concerned about long term and permanent damage. I think in my case it was a bad impact and over extension (bend) of the neck putting pin pointed pressure right down around my c3/4/5 area on the right side. I use to train some pretty aggressive sports

I had a sudden aggressive jolt and hyper flexion (bend) of my neck pressing and pinching down specifically around the c3/4 (maybe 5) area at the base of my skull on the right side and have had symptoms in my right arm ever since. I use to train some pretty rough high impact sports

Yes for years, chin tucks worked great along with various exercises, went away for a year then my posture changed, setting back hunched forward and looking up at tv or my phone started it back. “Kinda like a sad person on a park bench” Mine is stenosis in C5-C6. Trying to be careful on my posture by setting more upright. My spine doctor recommended a epidural or surgery “fusion” but I’m holding off because I know I can get it better. I quit riding motorcycles after 35 years due to the arm numbness, only way to temporarily stop it is to push my chin to my chest to open up the nerve opening. Sucks dealing with it. Shaving is a challenge lol

I had it for a long time, exercises do help, sometimes is still bugs me, 1 I got a neck roll pillow, started stretching alot, Surprisingly stretching my legs helped too, an I had a tight hamstrings, causes alot of tension along the muscles of the back

Angels on the roller is one of the best exercise for me . Feels like it’s counteracting for the flexed position of a desk job.

It’s such a good one for so many neck, back and shoulder issues!

What if you have pain shooting down your arm all day that's worst of all when in a seated position? For me it actually hurts most when I'm seated in the car. It started when I woke up with a stiff neck a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure if it's neck or shoulder? It hurts to bend my neck back but also I can feel tenderness in the superspinatus muscle so I thought that might be the origin but trigger point work there hasn't helped and nor have nerve glide exercises.

I have cervical arthritis and cervical raduculopathy. Will a roller be good to use?

Quick question, if you’re working with a boxer that’s in a punchers stance. Could you explain in a video the hips IT & ET rotation patterns during the punching movements & how we could strengthen and increase our hip mobilization in that punching movement? I know extension in the back leg from the glute is crucial but with the IT & ET patterns I’m a bit lost

Can you use these if you've had a fusion c4-5 c5-6
@RehabScience2 ай бұрын
Yes, these can typically be used after a fusion as well. However, I have not performed an evaluation on you, so you would need to test each exercise and see how your body responds. If an exercise creates more than mild discomfort, then it would need to be modified or eliminated from your program.

please suggest some exercises on angle of mandible region pain that goes till the collarbone, it's very painful and uncomfortable 😣 , medicine aren't helping it's been more than 1.5 years and i think doctor doesn't even understand my pain
@RehabScience3 ай бұрын
There are numerous muscles and nerves that run through this region. I would suggest trying the exercises in my thoracic outlet and neck pain videos. Here are the links. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHmXlZppert8Y6csi=Te-ITm0NI5qt-6Ag kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3Wvapt_aaaamtksi=kYp9PDiS3NzaVV_E

Thank you for these videos. I was officially diagnosed with degenerative disc disease (C5/C6/C7) back in March of this year. I'm currently experiencing numbness in my pinkie and ring finger of my left arm. I've been trying these mobilization exercises recently and it helps. If there is degeneration in those cervical discs, can it affect blood pressure?
