You know what would be fun? I’d love to watch you play as an Architectural Design ( the Profession), that comes with the ambitions pack! Sims hire you and make requests, like “I wanna a larger pool, and you can add lights and a bar etc”. That would be a fun play!!

My suggestion would be to keep these build challenges to unoccupied homes and potentially community lots? I love the idea shaking things up and breaking the monotony, but i feel some of the sims individuality could be loss in a chaotic rainbow mess (unless that is thier personality)

Community lots won't be done in videos since they are mostly rabbit holes. I might do a fun one but we will see. But I'll definitely Reno the ACTUAL community lot (like art gallery) Good idea. I think most of my build challenge style Reno's were unoccupied anyway, so I'll take your advice!

@Marcos da Silva One approach that might work in a stream or even a video series is to set a lot to say Disco Club in Edit Town, then have a Sim you're playing buy it, and build the disco club and start making money. That might hit a lot of interest points. (BTW disco costs you $133000 to build to level 3 and you get $16000 a week. So maybe a sports bar or local watering hole is better? They're all basically the same process, just money is different.)

@Marcos da Silva Yeah, with all the non-rabbit-hole lots (called "property" in Check Real Estate) that you can buy, they come in three levels. Say you buy a Fishing Spot in SV. I think with all of them they will not be at level 1 yet so you will need to add value to the lot and often some specific items. (BTW the lot value for level 1 is the same as the purchase price less the lot cost, so if a 30x30 community lot costs 6800, that's the lot price of 1800 plus 5000 you need to spend a total of 10000 to get to level 1.) At level 1 you can start to make money. I find that in general, level 1 takes about 20 weeks to recoup expenses, at level 2 it's about 14 weeks, and level 3 is about 9.

Ooo, this is my all-time favorite house in Sunset Valley (so, you know, I’m gonna have to have a little cry in the corner since the greyscale challenge was not kind to it 😢). Having said that, I actually did like how the backsplash tile in the kitchen turned out; not so much for this house, but it would make a fun accent wall in a modern house! And absolutely, do more challenges; it won’t be fun for any of us if you start feeling bored! 😁

You building in the sims 3: Hmm yes it is slow and janky with a lot of loading times inbetween the categories. But its just not _enough_ *pain* for me.

do you see greyscale? or only certain colours? My friend has a type where she has difficulties with some colours , she will literally think a purple and green are the same.
