Yes, the "idiot CV" was probably the one who flew into AA and lost their planes. Yuro saw a lolibote and two cruisers(one of whom was an Atlanta) and chose to not throw away his planes.

No, I'd say the RTS version was more accurate. A skilled carrier air group wrecked a less well trained one, and a CV could wreck the most important fleet units anywhere in range all on its own. I was one of the people through Alpha/Closed and Open Betas who said CVs were going to be a nightmare for WG to balance so they were fun to play but not intolerable to play against and that WG had probably made a poor choice including them. Haven't seen anything since then to change my mind. Either they wreck everything and people hate them or their ineffectual and most don't want to play them.

The problem is that Pensacola is actually the representative example of how it usually works vs the other clips which are mostly cherry picked bullying of exposed DDs, most of whom aren't very smart either. Notice how he's pretty much avoiding any same tier or higher cruisers and BB or anything clumped together like the plague. Bullying DD can win games, but it's not much fun for either side. There's a reason CV have gone extinct again in record time in the MM queue.

I'm sure that pensecola went to forums to complain about how overpowered CVs are. XDDD It's funny how many people say that CVs are OP when all they need is to have awareness and to know how to dodge attacks. Too bad that now CVs are nerfed(now AA focuses down planes one by one instead of dealing dmg to the whole squadron like in this video and also the aiming circle has been greatly widened and dispersion is way worse), i enjoyed killing overextending DDs that forgot their AA on. Even with all of these nerfs, CVs are still fun to play with or agaist them.
