I tried the boundaries almost exactly how you mentioned it. And my ex partner was all up for it until he wasn’t and then he started to call them rules. When at first he was like I totally respect them. It’s interesting how we can be on the same page until it’s not convenient for the person. That’s the hard part to grasp

Is it hard for you to grasp to respect yourself? IF so, then it be hard for you to figure out why the person cant respect you. And the person, will continue what you allow. You already know what respect means to you. Display it and people will fall into place. If they don't, they simply don't respect you AND are manipulating you because they see that they can because YOU are manipulating yourself so you can keep them. People catch wind of this and use it against you. They will feed on it. Take accountability to yourself. And the people will then know the total

I stumbled upon you delivering a lecture on Elevation Church, and I was unable to stop listening to what you had to say. It was excellent. After three samplings, my life was changed. I appreciate your candor, wit, expertise, and wisdom. You are uplifting. I no longer watch TV preachers, yet I felt inspired to click. I'm happy I listened, and thanks to you guys who upload your films to KZbin, you've changed people's lives. You are intelligent enough to do a lot of other things for money, so I'm extremely glad you decided to listen to your gift and calling. I hope that happens as well as people embrace MY NEW Latest Version of Myself since even though I legally changed my identity, many of my relatives and friends still refer to me by my former identity. It's quite unsettling.

Welcome welcome! Don’t be discouraged by the auto response. This church is both a building and a body. I’ve served for almost 4yrs (online and Atlanta) and this is good food. Heavy meat, very different than some of the pastors that could fall into that “tv preachers” category. PD is the definition of minding his business. He’s not a part of cultures hype. I'm a former pastor and I came into this realization after a deep betrayal. The person who violated my personal boundaries couldn't grasp why I couldn't just trust them because they begrudgingly said "sorry", especially being a minister. I truly loved this person but had to remove access for my well being and for my family. "Unconditional love does not mean unconditional access." Don't get it twisted! My biggest challenge is relatives/ close family members who don't understand my boundaries and are still sharing things about me when this person asks. I've told them to not share my business with anyone. They don't have a right to know just because they're curious. They don't seem to see the harm in it and it is now affecting my relationship with my close family member.

Biblical relationship management is not about avoiding pain and getting bad peeople out of your life. It is about knowing how to pursue the right people and nurture them in your life.
