He had already hired her to be his live in maid and then some for the equivalent of a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Decided the price was too high only to find out the other available coffee was far more expensive and didn’t taste nearly as good. Moral of the story is to tip well when you find good coffee.

When you’re 70 and dating a 20s 30s gal it’s always about the money. Never forget that! It’s the same here in Costa Rica 🇨🇷. I’m in my fifties and won’t date a 80 year old wealthy woman no matter what she is willing to buy me. What makes you think that a good looking woman that’s actually a hard worker would be interested in a senior citizen for anything other than money. Wake up people.

Money is not a factor. In social orders without money (The majority of history and across all 28 human primate species old men and young women have been attracted to each other. What I tell men is that the man who has access to the best technology and knows how to use it wins. An old man with a young horse, a young Carabao, and 🌽 popping up in a field is more attractive to a young woman that a young guy on foot asking her to delay pregnancy until he can trade something for a horse... You know "A horse, A horse, my whole kingdom for a horse." Sexual Dimorphism and Socioeconomic Disadvantage: Research in more developed countries shows that socioeconomic disadvantage is associated with earlier sexual debut and higher rates of unsafe sexual behaviors among females, but not males. This is linked to lower household living standards and unemployment. Women can start to lose reproductive capability the very moment the endocrine switch is turned on. Women have to be in a hurry. There are some women who are menopause around age 21. Shocking! I know. The French write and talk about this early onset of menopauses as an infrequent but normative condition. Americans, particularly the woman, do not know of such a condition. When a French study is cited they say it is an abnormal condition. Women have to sexually debut quickly and they have to find a man who has or can build a good nest. In high income countries young men enjoy economic parity with old men. Women look at the length of time a young man can employ a technology relative to the shorter duration that an old man like myself can use the same techniques. Money does not factor in! Sociologically speaking a truth meets all conditions. Money is only a technological transfer or storage of goods and services. Young men. Please disagree. I certainly disagreed when I was young. I ride my bike in an athletics field everyday. I always see a young boy, maybe 15 or 16 foundaling a new girl every week after the school bell rings. I want to stop and tell him two things but I don't. One: in five years you will not be attracted to that little girl. Two: All of the boys that are at home doing their homework and thus learning how to use technology will have your girl if they want her and a 100 more. The only thing that Hollywood Handsome little fucker knows is how to finger some little girl in broad daylight! It is a damned shame. But some older boy must have told him that girls and women are attracted to looks and the only thing an unattractive man has to offer is money! That's a God Damn Shame!

I’ve been thinking about it all day. He deserves what he got.. there was a woman in desperate need, and she laid herself at his feet willing to give herself along with hard work, she wasn’t begging for a free ride. She gave her body and her labor For mercy and he showed his true colors . he showed himself to be a greedy man.. She didn’t ask for much just some human kindness and compassion.. but he seized the advantage he treated her like a lower life form .good for her for having enough pride to walk away . Some people are such assholes so worried about someone getting over on them for a dollar or two it makes me sick.

There are a LOT of ol'farts who can't get out of their own way. The younger ones ( passport Bros ) exploit and prey on the disadvantaged. They can't find or be accepted in their own countries. Finding a younger expat with principles, character, values, morals etc. is rare. Most Filipinas are limited and will take other countries discarded or trash just for survival. It's sad but we didn't set the rules for humanity.

The foreigner/filipina relationships seem to follow the same pattern. He has money, she doesn't. He is old, she isn't. He is the provider, she expects that. The filipina has learned from other filipinas that the foreigner can and will change her life to one that makes her happy. She appreciates him as her provider and all that he can teach her with life lessons. His age and physical appearance is not considered a negative factor in the relationship.............he brings much to her life as she does to his. Live long, live well, live happy.............in the beautiful Philippines.

Paul, Here is my takeaway. Initially in any romantic relationship one enters it is always prudent to hold back; emotions, finances, compromising information etc. However, it is also just as important to read the room. A 70 year old man with a 24 year old beautiful young woman that cooks, cleans and sleeps with him, should know that she has needs and expenses. In my view had he provided everything as agreed, food, shelter etc. He should have also given her P300 (pesos) per day and the relationship would more than likely still be intact and be a "Win Win" for everyone. Final Thought. The analogy that comes to mind is: Never jump over a dollar to save a dime! Great Video!

I met my wife in HK. She was an OFW experiencing a terrible, abusive situation. (We met by chance in a social environment - a barbecue). I extracted her from that situation. She needed to return to the Philippines after reneging on her contract. I took over her contract and she returned to HK. We are around the same age - she was 37 and I was 48 when we met. After a year we had a child together, so 'technically', I was sleeping with the maid! We now live in the Philippines and are doing very well, around PP80,000 pcm in income, owning property of around USD 1M. I get the feeling that now I am actually the maid.

Guys like this probably never knew what love, compassion was really about or he's just been burnt too many times. It was stated that he supported his disadvantaged daughter but who knows what this guy's been through?! We all don't know where this guy's mind is at or where it came from. What ol'fart wouldn't like to be with a beautiful, young woman just for a moment?

Basic principles, follow the Golden Rule. Treat others how you want to be treated. You learn that hopefully at a young age. Otherwise you make poor choices as this man did.

What you say, maybe true. I don't think that she made her decision solely based on him being cheap. Maybe she came into her own and realized that she required MORE and he's not willing or able to provide that. All the sordid details I can't get into for it would just be speculation. I wish her well.

Holy crap, this sounds wayyy too similar to my 1st ex here. She was young and gorgeous, and she loved me like I was a king. After a year, and for reasons I later regret, I broke up right before I went back to the US to take care of family issues. Several months later I came back and tried to get her back and she was NOT having it at all. I offered everything - take care of her kid, luxury trips, money for her family. lol The girls here can be so beautiful, loving and true... but if you break up with them, that's it! Bitterness forever. They'd rather stay poor. Man this story hit home, I was a mess. lol Hard lessons learned just like this dude.

@@Robin-xt7yo Actually she's still dating 6 years later. I saw her FB rants about guys last year. The problem for her is that most guys are cheating on her, are just playing around, or aren't willing to take care of her child. You know how dating is, most are just playing it seems. Anyway, I treated her like I cared, unlike the guy in this story.

The Best relationshipp for a Man is where a woman chooses Him and pursues him and hopefully he realizes he has a really good one. The worst is the one that chases the woman and is willing to go beyond his boundaries and do "Anything" to get her as she will not Value or Respect him. This guy burned his bridges and now with the return of her parents he will never get her back. So it shows money doesn't bring Happiness and if presented with the "perfect lawn" Don't go comparing the grass as it usually isn't greener on the other side. Now he is left with a messy yard, no maid and no girlfriend along with a valuable lesson.

Wow Paul - been watching many channels including yours for a long while, and this is for sure the first like this. You are right friend, you can’t make this up, lol. So, I think even though he was a tight Charlie, but stuck to his MO, so to speak, he met a girl that stuck to hers as well, and it bit him. Bottom line for me is if you meet someone you really like and love, invest in that person if you want her to stick around. And even if he did offer her what she wanted initially, maybe it would have long term, or maybe not…only time would have told that story. Love your channel, spent about 3 plus weeks in the Phils and would have loved to meet you and Baby Mae - maybe next time. Blessings to you both!

I feel for the next guy(s) that are trying to have a normal relationship with her (the ex-maid). She will find it difficult to trust them and push for money more often than she would have had in a non-jaded initial relationship. I was that next guy in one relationship, and despite my efforts to help more than most would, we eventually broke up. So, I paid for the last cheap charlie to an extent, and so will her new guys. The cheap charlie guy should just live on his own.

Reminds me of the classic 70's rift 'Life in the fast lane' though as a retired expat. If there is anything to these lyrics it suggests lifestyle imagined through forms of culture can manifest when we transport ourselves from home base which entails strains of capital be that financial or emotional roller coaster rides as in this case. So the case study did end up paying for the social engineering experiment.

I feel she could see when he took her family in it was another form of control over her. He’s a narcissist with how he controls people…when he couldn’t get what he wanted by using her family to get her back he did what a true narcissist would do and dumped them with trickery back where he found them. Good for her and I hope she’s very happy with herself….😊

The moral of that story: Be a decent human being and treat people fairly. Don’t try to grind them down when negotiating a fair wage. Show respect and kindness to your girlfriend and buy her gifts now and then. That guy who had a really good income by any American standards, treated her shamefully and frugally. I’m so proud of her that she retained her dignity and told him to “pound sand” each time he tried to get her back.

Love is about being unselfish and so many more things that it would take 10 pages to cover. Humans,....stop thinking about yourselves when going into a relationship and you will harvest the biggest Treasure on this Galaxy..........LOVE.
