God is working overtime with my husband...God is working through those that we love. He wasn't a believer, had no faith but has slowly found the path to walking with Jesus. I continie to praise him for pushing through those walls in my husband's heart. Our god is amazing and loves us all no matter what walk of life you lead or previously lead. He is in our house that presence is what we needed. Our lives was disastrous..now he has calmed my heart, he let me forgive and is walking hand and with me and my husband. You might really love this. It is from Charles Spurgeon and really highlights the true meaning of Song of Songs that this message missed. This book stands like the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and no one will ever be able to pluck its fruit and eat of it until he has been brought by Christ past the sword of the cherubim and led to rejoice in the love that has delivered him from death. Th Song of Solomon is only to be comprehended by those standing within the veil. The outer court worshippers and even those who only enter the court of the priests think the book is a strange one. But those who have learned a life of sacred fellowship with Jesus will bear witness that when they desire to express what they feel, they are compelled to borrow expressions from this matchless song. It stands in the middle of the Bible. It is the holy of holies. The central part of all.

I do agree that the Bible does define and illustrate passion for married people and that attractiin can be powerful. What is not agreeing with my spirit is the fact that these modern "speakers" are always using references , quoting ohrases, singing the lines from some of the most vulgar people , artists, musicians there is. How can someone who is not supposed to be like the world know every expression, sound , detail about so.much without actively watching participating, ir feeding off of the productions of these very people. How is this not a concern? I cant judge but Im starting to see a little of the Bibles antiguity in this modernity too. The same type of people were in the Bible as well.

My only nitpick with the message today was it seemed to keep leaning towards advice for strictly the women. A lot of the points should have been stated to go both ways in regards to self insecurity, respect, and etc. My girlfriend was able to get a lot out of the message but as a guy I was kinda just left with "Your words have an impact."

Pray everyday for help and search out those who share in your faith. Find the positive value in who you are, no matter how small it is and celebrate it and build off of it. I had been so excited when Pastor Craig said that a woman would be speaking about this (although I was sad I wouldn’t be hearing the message from him). About 15 minutes in, me and my fiancé got up and walked out. She was extremely loud and obnoxious and about the time she started making Cardi B noises, we were out. I would be incredibly embarrassed if I had been single and invited a non-Christian to this sermon with me. I do think the message needs to get out there but how a message is communicated is as important as the message. I just hope that there were people who got something out of this.

@@kind2423 God led me away from the message. And I understand exactly why. Also, condemning someone for condemning someone...really? I’m not saying Cardi B isn’t a human. She does deserve compassion and kindness. But you don’t look at thieves, prostitutes etc and say “be like them or glorify them”, Jesus wanted to help them to change them so they WOULDN’T be that way.

It's sad. The church, the bride of Christ is dead. The first church was caring, giving, centered around everyone. The church today is centered around us, ourselves. That's why there's no more healings. That's why there's no more casting out demons. The church is dead. Sad.

I understand what you are saying. Honestly. But we are the church. I stopped looking to people years ago because my faith is rooted in God and His word. People will always dissapoint. The church is not perfect and Christians are not perfect. Merely saved by grace. The church is broken, but thankfully Jesus came for the broken. We really need to keep our eyes on Jesus and not on man, because if we do the latter we are going to be dissapointed and let down. I once told a friend I am going to probably disappoint you, say something to offend you and probably cancel you last minute. If you think we can still be friends then I would love to walk a journey with you. I could never reach the perception of perfection the world put on Christians and it's better to be honest about it. I am sorry if you have been hurt by the church, but God brings healing and restoration. Just ask someone that knows. X

@@Midnightcrimefiles Thanks. Everything you said it's true. However, the church must have some limits and modesty. Because you could be going to a church where the true gospel isn't preached, you live your whole life believing that new gospel and when it all ends Jesus tells you I never knew you. I love this church and I hope than can make some changes.

We must be discerning and filled with the spirit so we can identify truth vs fiction. We must study the word and keep close to the words of Jesus. We must also have understanding for those who speak, and understand that nobody is perfect. We might find those who speak a few things poorly, but the truth can be in their description certainly.
